Man, Mirko was def at his A-game during the OWGP. I dont know if hes ever going to be capable of that again but seeing someone perform as good as he did is inspiring. I hope to God he can recapture his glory
Heres how I see it though. Given his position right now after 2 losses, and the fact that UFC had so many intentions for him, he will be given a very light opponant, hopefuly if he beats him in impressive manner then he will either get contender status or another mediocre fighter to get steam.
If he does good in his next 2 fights I def see a contract extention and a possible title shot. It would be too big of a waste of money not to.
