Just let the fighters use roids and everyone will be happy with the carnage.

Although the BBC rarely report on the UFC fights they feel it necessary to tell the world Cyborg has a potential USADA violation.

Very disappointing news, but if she is found to be guilty after the end of this "potential violation" phase, she must be punished like all others. She has been one of the most tested athletes since USADA stepped in with UFC. Lets see what happens next.

Possibly, but I am still not sure what was going on. Sure, I am hoping for the best, through the eyes of a fan, of course. She was suffering from thick blood since her last disastrous weight cut, which is no news and taking loads of liquids along diuretics supposedly would treat this and put most affected organs back to work. However, if it's a banned substance she needed, there's no reason they did not apply for a TUE upfront. That makes no sense, they are pros, but also I can't see the sense in straight taking steroids with so many random tests in and out competition going on. So, if she was tested maybe a week earlier she would be simply be caught with steroids in her system? Is that sort of gambling worthy? At the position she is, right before the possibility of being the UFC WFW Champion? I can't figure. She is being tested clean a lot. She is under the microscope since ever. Lets see.

Not sure you were being sarcastic here or not, so...

Uses for diuretics

The Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure recommends that most people try thiazide diuretics first to treat high blood pressure and heart problems related to high blood pressure.

If diuretics aren't enough to lower your blood pressure, your doctor might recommend adding medications such as calcium channel blockers, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor blockers or beta blockers to your blood pressure treatment.

In addition, doctors prescribe certain diuretics to prevent, treat or improve symptoms in a variety of conditions, such as:

Heart failure
Liver failure
Tissue swelling (edema)
Certain kidney disorders, such as kidney stones

Mike Dolce and George Lockhart(Cyborg's nutrition and weight cutting coach) are business rivals. They're like coke and pepsi, ufc and bellator competing for the same business market. That could be something to take into account with everything Dolce is saying there.

Dolce isn't necessarily the cleanest or best in his line of work either. He could well be guilty of his own fair share of bad weight cutting expertise which could have long term negative effects on the health of athletes.

Dolce criticizing Lockhart is kind of a the-grass-is-greener-on-the-other-side-of-the-hill thing.

Hard work is the only real PED.

Prospects -- Doo Hoo Choi, Ashlee Evans Smith, Mickey Gall, Sage Northcutt, Thomas Almeida, Yair Rodriguez, Lorenz Larkin, Robert Whittaker

I may have misunderstood but the issue is to do with this drug being used as a birth control pill that also has a diuretic effect. Apparently it's a very old somewhat dangerous drug with side effects, but the idea was to use it for its diuretic effect but it be in the grey area because it is a birth control aid. I.e. it has a legitimate use, even though no one really uses any more. What's more he didn't go through the correct channels to get any exemption. So at the very least she's going to get a one-year suspension.
