Entertaining fight. I can't wait to see Nog fight again. Makes me miss the Pride crowd a bit though. Anytime that five seconds pass between exchanges, the crowd feels like it has to boo. Terribly annoying.

I loved this fight. I can't believe Herring actually landed that nice kick and almost capitalized. Dunno though............Heath just can't turn it on sometimes.

One of the greatest officiating jobs in recent history. Yves recognized who was fighting and gave Nog more of a chance to recover because of it.

This was my FOTN by far in "the greatest mma card ever". I was as impressed by Nog as ever. Can't wait to see him against Kongo, it's either going to be laughable at how inept Kongo is once Nog gets him on the ground, or Damone is gonna end up putting a shotgun in his mouth.

PS: Love the slow-motion nose-breaking knee by Silva at the end of his opening highlight reel.

Edit: Did anyone else score the first round 10-10 like me?

Heath Herring, a Texas Jiu-Jitsu fighter, really?

Is that even a style?

I think that Herring will get his feet back underneath of him. His old fights were great though. Yeah, Nog was hurt bad but he kept his head off the ground (after it bounced off of it) and motioned to the ref that he was good to continue. Further proof that Nog is top notch, because he knew how to keep his head in that fight.

Bruce Buffer sure does have his moments, doesn't he?

That's alright though, because Kei Grant and the screamo lady from PRIDE make him look like Michael Buffer... (that's a good thing... sort of).

Thanks for the links, I only watched this fight live and I was very intoxicated and barely even remember it. Nog looked better than I remember, ha

What a stud
