it more interesting to be able to hear what the corners say. gets a little annoying when Joe Rogan repeat the same thing over and over. In the Liddell vs. Jardine: "another leg kick, another leg kick....leg kick...." so annoying.

i would HATE if there was no commentary and alls you hear is matt serra corening someone yelling "HAMMA FIST! HAMMA FIST! USE YA FOOTSTAWMPS! NOIIIIIIIIIICE! YOU'RE BREATHIN!!

much like during the marvin eastman/travis lutter fight, you could hear the commentators but even louder was beastman's annoying cornerman yelling, it just got annoying

Exactly what does that comment have to do with the question?

It is best to ignore statements like that. Either your legitimizing it or feeding a troll either way don't waste your breath my friend.

As far as my opinion other than my utter distaste for everything Joe Rogan. There has to be some kind of middle ground. Instead of an ongoing inane commentary that is just pointing out the obvious. Get commentators to watch Baseball, Football, hockey and soccer commentators. There is a dialog of what is happening, peppered with interesting facts about the players or rules that maybe the audience may not know or understand. Hell just listen to Madden for 5 minutes and tell me your not entertained.

And with something like the UFC...take a a lesson from boxing and between rounds LET THE F**KING CORNERS SPEAK with no interruption. Short pauses are not death either or even having a camera and a mic on each corner to listen to small snippets of how they work their corner.

Put Rogan's ego in check and it will improve the product.

Just my 2 cents.

1. George St. Pierre
2. Anderson Silva
3. Fedor Emelianenko
4. Don Frye
5. Kenny Florian

Who caught the first round of the last Fight Night?

Dirty Rogan does a great job with his commentary. It is difficult to call BJJ because the transitions happen suddenly, and the mistakes Rogan makes are generally him speculating on the intentions of the fighter. He garners trust with the audience with his enthusiasm about the sport. You don't get that with most color guys because they cover 4 or more sports, the whole, jack of all trades-master of none, deal.

Goldie can be a bit of a whore promoting the UFC, but that's one of the drawbacks of the TV production being funded and operated by the fight promotion. His knowledge and insight have improved over the years.

I like the commentating. It was driving me nuts when that happened. And its not that I need Joe to tell me whats going on. My girlfriend always laughs because Ill say shit right before he does and then he says exactly what I said. What I really like hearing about is what they did to get ready for the fight, who they were training with. Or sometimes if if someone I dont know much about, they will sometimes tell you of some of their previou opponents.
