This. Ronda will never be a good striker. But to get the clinch she has to come out with her arms stretched at her sides, running through the punches. If she could duck in on the legs, it could change everything.

Ronda training with Mayweathers could be a good idea.

AFAIK Justin Bieber was trained by Floyd Mayweather Jr once.

Justin Bieber managed to learn some good head movement from that 1 lesson:

It irritates me that Ronda has been training "boxing" for 4-5 years and probably has less head movement and worse defense than Justin Bieber has. At least Bieber knows to roll with punches rather than take them straight in the face.

Then Ronda has the gall to call herself the best in the world.

Hard work is the only real PED.

Prospects -- Doo Hoo Choi, Ashlee Evans Smith, Mickey Gall, Sage Northcutt, Thomas Almeida, Yair Rodriguez, Lorenz Larkin, Robert Whittaker

Justin Bieber has been training boxing for a while. He was on David Haye's show a few years back in the lead up to the Wlad fight and not only did he look pretty sharp, but he clearly wasn't into the bollocks of David asking celeb questions and just wanted to train with the HW champ.

Anyways, I kind of feel Ronda's too stiff to ever improve her boxing technique. I think she could learn a lot more but I don't feel she has the fluidity and technique to learn an entire new facet of her game.

She went the typical wrestle-boxer road I suspected already after the McMann fight. She fell in love with KOing people, which she was able to do by sheer power. But like most wrestle-boxers it's basically the big right hand without much surrounding technique. (I can't come up with a wrestle who transitioned to MMA and developed not just powerful overhand rights, but really slick striking). Unfortunately for her, she doesn't have the chin of a Dan Henderson.

While she's easily the second strongest female fighter p4p after Cyborg, she also doesn't have any idea how to actually land like Hendo does.

It might be normal to people, for a world champion in combat sports like Ronda who trained in "boxing" for 4-5 years *full time* to have worse striking defense, worse stand up technique and worse head movement than Justin Bieber, who has never had a single amateur fight and never trained seriously in his life.

To me, that's not normal.

Its dysfunctional.

Only Bieber doesn't have better of any of those things. I can probably find you a video of a child under 5 years old hitting pads sharper than Amanda Nunes. That amounts to as much as you watching some random video of Justin Bieber training thinking it makes him better than Ronda Rousey, someone who has KOed 3 of her last 6 opponents at the highest level of her field.
