Don't you mean:-

"Zuffa is the worst thing to ever happen in MMA and they are absolutely evil and Mike Goldberg is the most imcompetent commentator ever and the sport won't be tolerable until his annoying voice is gone?".

If you've been looking around all of these sites for a while, one year ago it would be MUCH more common to hear my quote than yours, but any money says yours suddenly becomes more common.

Zuffa did with MMA similarly to what the WWE did with pro wrestling, which was consolidate it into one central promotion. Say what you will but they built something out of very little. They understood the industry better then the business people running the UFC now.

But I wonder about the bold part. How on Earth could you have thought that┐ At least while the Fertittas and White where at charge, the UFC was built up by enthusiasts of the sport, now a big billion dollar company just bought it and took over. How could you think they'd be less ruthless┐ (or was that just irony┐)

I imagine the new owners don't think he's "professional enough". In other words, not the regular voice the american audience is accustomed to. Or maybe he just wanted a change.

Let's hope the UFC thinks it over and give him a nice farewell in one of the next big events. Mike has been there practically from the beginning and despite of people's opinion about him, he should be shown some respect.

I'd expect Mike to be involved in whatever the next Hall of Fame induction kind of situation is, given that he isn't in major opposition between now and then. RIZIN could be perfect considering they air on Fight Pass. I doubt the UFC really has much of an issue with them if they are promoting the show.

I agree it's bollocks he got nothing on the show and I actually have always liked his stuff. His voice is synonymous with it for me.

Maybe he'll be relegated to UFC Fight Pass commentary.

Yeah, that's what happens when everyone gets fired.

"I'm sorry, we'll have to let you go. See you on Saturday for work though".

The fact of the matter is Mike Goldberg is a pretty good commentator and someone will pick him up.
