Floyd offers Conor 15 Million plus PPV shares.

So Floyd Mayweather was on ESPN today and supposedly offered Conor 15 mill and some PPV shares. Do you think this fight might actually happen now? Or is Floyd just talking to stay relevant?

Very interesting, the offer is not too shabby and room for, to insist on 20 million. Considering boxes get a far higher cut of the pay-per-view that is a ton of money definitely up in the 50 million for McGregor region. Let's get it done role on the Ali act.

The biggest obstacle is the UFC and I dont think I see them letting this go ahead without them being heavily involved?

Pretty terrible money.

Manny Pacquiao was offered $40,000,000 disclosed off the back of:-

Vs De La Hoya - 1,250,000
Vs Hatton - 850,000
Vs Cotto - 1,250,000
Vs Clottey - 700,000
Vs Margarito - 1,150,000
Vs Mosley - 1,340,000
Vs JMM 3 - 1,400,000
Vs Bradley - 890,000

Conor McGregor has been offered $15,000,000 disclosed off the back of:-

Vs Mendes - 825,000
Vs Aldo - 1,400,000
Vs Diaz - 1,600,000
Vs Diaz 2 - 1,650,000
Vs Alvarez - (I think I've read that at minimum it was like 1,500,000)

In short, any time recently, McGregor is scoring higher than Pacquiao was across the board. Yet he's not even getting half?

Mayweather has the clout to pull it off along with Oscar. Those two understand the game very well, hence what made Conor who he is. He studied them, namely "Money." I think Conor will do it for $25-$50 million (ppv share) or even try to push for a 50-50 or 40-60 split in favor of Floyd. I don't know if his ego will allow the latter deal though cuz he knows he can draw. Pacquiao had the Phillipines and Conor has Ireland and really the entire UK.

If Conor can score a deal outlined above it would be approaching retirement money. Personally I would like to see Conor fight for another five years, but I don't think it's gonna happen. He's the first to do what he's done in the short amount of time altering the pay scale for the better of ALL fighters.

Conor said he brings home $25 million per fight in the UFC.

If that's true, $15 million would be beneath his pay grade.

Lorenzo confirmed Conor is guaranteed $10 million per fight awhile back.

You're including PPV money though while Mayweather fight isn't. Conor typically makes 1-2 million or something disclosed Vs 15 for Mayweather.

That is true.

Conor's salary in his last fight was $3 million or something like that. With PPV shares Conor claims he makes $25 mil.

A salary of $15 million plus PPV shares could be a lot more than what Conor normally makes. It all depends on how many PPV shares Floyd is offering.

Conor insisting on 100 mil, but I'm hoping they come to an agreement. Really want to see this. Curious how well Conor can compete.

Lol, fu ck. Why am I entertaining this.

In a boxing match, Conor has a 'puncher's chance'. Against Floyd that's a 1/1000 or so. I'll probably get drunk and bet $50 to win $800 on a ko or something live and lose. But hey, the brutal odds will be worth it if we get any semblance of a battle.

I still can't imagine this happening in this dimension as the UFC won't agree to a boxing co-promotion will they? With WME-IMG may, as they are all about the money. But I still lean on the 99% no/ 1 % yes path.

This could be interesting if entertaining it. I want it to happen I guess. I still don't know if a Mayweather fight can be exciting.
