Why doesnt Couture just...

Fight Fedor even though hes under contract.
Is Dana gonna get the cops to arrest him for fighting. Sure he can pull a lawsuit on him - but wouldnt it be less than what hes making even if he looses...like 1 million dollars to loose sounds damn good to me!

So he pays the fine and still gets to fight fedor - and send a nice message to MR. Dana F***ing White saying "HA HA HA HA HA HA HA - sure you got money - but the UFC didnt get Fedor vs Couture!"

Follow up from very reliable source:
I heard Randy is now in Russia w/ producer Joe Francis hopping from bar to bar in an attemp to catch Fedor and instigate a nice 'ol bar fight.

Mac Danzig is still on his back; his sweaty, pumped white torso is flushed with the auburn heat that auburn skin produces when it is aroused. His panting, fetching head has been pushed up against the cage by... Marc Bocek’s energetic pounding...

The reason I say this is because the latest interview with Dana he said that the 9 month wait thing is NOT TRUE.
He said he has him under contract for 2 more fights...so he cant fight ever until his 2 fights are done.

Its lame I know...

the contracts have both a time frame and a fight number clause, just b/c one runs out doesn't mean the other one crumbles with it. How is it dumb? sounds like a good business on Zuffa's part. I will say Randy is probably planning on meeting with lawyers or lawyers are going over his contract with a fine tooth comb and looking for any and all loop holes. Personaly I think he should fight Cro Cop just for the money and then last match a rematch with Tim Sylvia. But as will all things only time will tell.

I posted this in another thread, but Randy is a consumate chess player when it comes to game plans. I have the feeling this whole resignation fits into a larger game plan that will produce a fight with Fedor.

My favorite fighters of all time:

Randy Couture
Ken Shamrock
Rickson Gracie
Matt Hughes
Rampage Jackson
Chuck Liddell
Fedor Emelianenko

Couldn't Mark Cuban just buy Couture's contract out (assuming Dana would sell).
