If Randy fights anywhere outside of the US it will be extremly hard for the courts to stop him, imo. There is a lot of precedence set where atheletes come over from other countries where they were under contract. It happens with hockey an baseball. Now in many cases the American leagues have deals with leagues outside of the US, but that is so that the leagues don't lose too much money.

The last reference that comes to mind is Evgeni Malkin sneaking out of Moscow to play for the Penguins.

Is Nog going to fight for title reguardless of his match against Kongo or is the Congo match not happening and Big Nogs next fight will be for the title? I have heard both...

Thought Nog was fighting Kongo first, then the winner of vera/sylvia would fight the winner of nog/kongo?

I think Nog should get the shot without fighting Kongo. I know that Gonzaga was given a shot by beating Cro Cop but that win was more meaningful than Kongo beating Cro Cop, in my eyes. I personally think Kongo would be a good match-up with AA. This is probably why the fight was moved back in the first place. It gives the UFC more time to get their match-ups organized. Hopefully Big Nog will capture the belt. I think out of all the UFC heavyweights, he deserves it most.

Besides, the ex-Pride fighters need some more love. I know not all of them have won their first fights but in a few months they could have 3 of the 5 UFC belts

Yep thats a good point about the belts. I see Big Nog beating all of the 3 fighters mentioned in the title match deal. CroCop may have lost some he should'nt have but the other Pride guys have done pretty well and seem to be forces to recon with.

I really just do not undestand why they just do'nt make this weekend's match between Vera and Silvia a title match, with the winner defending against Big Nog next.
because vera and tim already signed on for a regular match...and tim lossing the title does not automatically give him the right for a one fight chance to have it again....not to mention i think tim needs to win the fans over again before the ufc is willing for him to hold the belt
