Okay, this could rule. This could rule, hard. Big Dog was pretty rad during his time, that is, if you're into perfectly executed jitz. Dude is ugly as shit, too, so he could probably help bring in the troll demographic.
So yeah, Almeida is the swankness when he's not fighting in Pride.
the only thing that could be bigger than this right now
is if hendo....finally decided to drop down a division

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.

People who have a problem with ground fighting need to stick with boxing. It was a little while back now but weren't they booing during Sherk/Franca? I loved that fight.
Almeida is a beast and I'm real exicted to hear this his gym isn't far from my house and I have trained there a couple times. I'm suprised that they didn't try and rush him to fight in Jersey at 78 since he is a pretty big deal around here in the BJJ world.

I love ground fighting, but I booed at my TV during that fight. Sherk did nothing but switch dominating positions to do.... nothing. He didn't try to sub him, he didn't elbow him, he didn't really even try to GnP. Every round was the SAME except that 1 of Francas knees did slightly more damage the third round.
Tyson Griffen vs Clay Guida was an amazing fight, mostly on the ground, and its because they both tried to sub each other. THAT is ground fighting. Not laying on each other lol
