not to put ya down but these types of posts just irritate me, for one thing if Randy is 10x better why did he get his ass KO'd twice?

Yes yes we know Randy vs Fedor awesome yes but it's out of the question for now and we won't see it for a while if not ever and another thing not just to you but others it's not just about the money it's about the respect randy feels he deserves and which he apparently is not getting.

8 months ago, randy was retired, not the champion, not nearly as popular as he is now, and most of all, was not offered a leading role in an upcoming movie.

8 months later, he's the champion, extremely popular, and has a chance to become a movie star = more money. He needs time for his acting debut, but is tied to UFC. He makes a decision, to ask to be "compensated more" , UFC said no, you sign an agreement and you must abide by it, until your contract is over.

Randy cops out and makes a sorry excuse there are no more competition, and leaves for Hollywood..to be Hollywood couture.

Seriously now,as much as i dislike Dana, and believe he is mistreating many of his fighters, randy is definitely on the far end of the mistreated list. I bet if couture wasn't shooting a movie, he'll be training for his next fight.

i was waiting for someone to say that

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.

I have blamed randy from the first day I heard he quit.
I blame fedor for being scared.
I do not blame White, never have.
These guys are responsible adults, don't sign something without thinking ahead, Randy don't like the money he was getting tough shit he signed it.
I agree with Dana, everyone else is spending way to much money burning themselves out, while UFC is paying just enough and taking care of the fighters.
its all about job security, I think its wise.
And I think Captain America just went to the red-skulls team.

"Randy belongs to me" This is my problem with Dana he always talks about how he is all about the fighters in the media and how they are such close friends and then he says things like this and treats the lower fighters like trash.

If he didn't act as if he was a friend to all fighters I wouldn't have such a problem but Dana needs to choose between being President of the UFC, Friend to the fighters, and Face of the UFC. He tries to fill all the roles and comes off fake.
