Everyones got a nationality, everyones proud, so what, business is business if you cant get outta your blessed nation and be a man about it thn why fight? Fedor had an excuse for everything and acts like hes the only one who ever had to deal with that situation, others have signed and never whined.poor example of manhood on his part.

Also the most ridiculous, how can someone promote you and not worry about another promoter crossing over on you, Fedor knows nothing about business to even ask is again looking for a way out, like a fighter looking for a way out, he did the same business wise, he put himself in a business arm-bar.

He wants to much, the deal is about him, not his friends, or his family, or his cousin guido who use to wrestle in russian high school, its about HIM, and him only, I would told him no as well.

If hes that interested in wanting that fight, hes the poster boy, he has a voice, let it be known, he didnt, period.
I guess Randy would know better than me or you what he considrs a challenge, and I don't think nog would do anything to Randy but be a victim, of course we wont find out cause hes to busy stepping to the stars.

Randy Couture is way to honest to be wrong ??? ...something must really be wrong in the UFC for him to do this. I hope it works out for him though

Right now it is he said...he said. Who do you believe and what does it mean? That is what the discussion is about. I don't see how that is wrong or invokes your "wisdom".

I also won't be surprised if Dana takes pot shots at him at every available opportunity, makes sure people don't wear Extreme Couture anymore while entering the octagon, have him show up, and etc.

Dana could've been more diplomatic after Randy left, but no, now it's escalating, and will eventually turn into name calling, and so on.

Anyhow, while Randy is away from the UFC I wouldn't be surprised if they attack him the whole time and or try to erase his accomplishments, and if he ever comes back, they'll herald him as the greatest thing since the dawn of mankind.
I think your totally wrong with this. Even with Tito, which had much more animosity, they never took away his achievements- they did stop talking about him and let him fade into the background. Which I would do the exact same thing in their shoes. If anything that will happen here.

Trying to undo what Randy did would just be foolish and imply the people who are footing their bill is stupid and gullible. Which would be us.

What if he was 20 instead of 45? So he can't fight again, EVER, until he fight 2 more times in the UFC? I don't think that would hold up in court.

I'd beg to differ.

Look at the contract of any professional sports. It specifies years played; not years. A player who goes into retirement plays on his current contract if he comes back.

Now many teams will renegotiate, but they don't have to.

I've seen many posts where people have claimed Randy's contract is 4 fights or 2 years...whichever comes first. IF that is the case Randy has to wait about 19-12 months before he could sign with someone else.

If the time constraint is not in the contract his a$$ belongs to Dana until he fulfills his contract obligations.

i think you might be right about that.. like someone stated on one of these threads i think they should be a winning purse and a losing purse.. based on match calibur.. like if its a big star in the fight.. they should make a winning purse lets say 40,000 or something and then the loser maybe 10,000 that way every fighter would need to earn thier keep.. reguardless how good you was youd still have to win the fight to get the big money..

I don't confuse genuine speculation for people passing off opinion as fact, which is what i see a lot of when it comes to Randy's contract. The difference is in the context, and my comment was in response to all the Randy topics of late.

I guess im just burned out on it a little and im starting to sound cynical about it all.
