if chuck looses i think he will take some time off... if wandy looses...well he doesnt seem to care as long as he gets to fight. as far as the ufc goes i dont think they will sack him, however... some kkind of multi million dollar contract next time he signs will be out of the question imo

Age is prob. part of it but I think it's alot like the Cheeto effect. Everyone is progressing past the point of the next guy and so forth. Anymore these guys are like machines and train constantly and push themselves and the game has stepped up so much.
Oh , Wandy well it's Wandy. The only way I see Chuck winning this Fight is if he catches him in the first two minutes after that well it might be the beating of Chuck that'll look alot like Chuck/Quinton 1

If I were in Chuck's shoes I'd be more likely to retire if I beat Silva. This is the fight of his career and has been wildly anticipated through most of Chuck's prime. To put the icing on the cake of a good career(and considering he's lost bad in his last 2 fights), I think Chuck would only retire on a fantastic performance/a win. That's what I'd do anyway. Straight losses in your last fights before retirement tarnish your achievements somewhat. That's just how I see it though.

If Chuck loses 3 on the trot, he's done.

But it's his first loss in the UFC.. so it's not as big of a deal.
