first loss in a while in the ufc

if wandy looses to chuck no biggie....this is his golden ticket

imagine if pride was still around and they did a wandy vs page 3

yikes

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.

I think Chuck will hang up the gloves if he loses to Wandy. I'm not saying he's old and that he's washed up, I just think he's done enough in his career that fighting Wanderlei is really going to be the biggest fight he could find. If he wins, he goes out on a high note. If he loses, he goes out losing to one of the best in the world, in a fight that most of us have been waiting for around 4 years.

I tend to agree with you. If I had to go on the record with it, I'd say Chuck will retire after the Wanderlei fight. Unless he gets pushed through for a title shot. But I really don't see that happening after 1 win over Wandy.

No doubt. But Coleman did limited commentary for Pride, and he's no better lol.

If he loses, it's to Wanderlei...so it's not like he's losing to another Jardine or someone like that.

im by no means a chuck fan, in fact i highly disagree with his training, but saying he is overrated is jumping on the wagon, give credit where it's due. hes beaten couture, a legend, twice. hes beaten Monson, Randleman, Mezger, Overeem, Suloev, Belfort, Sobral (2x), Couture (2x), Ortiz (2x), Vernon White, Bustamante, and Horn. Many of those are top-level heavyweights aswell.

Id say the only other LHWs that have a record that matches it are Wandy and Page.

While he may not be in the top of his carreer right now, the man is one of the top 3 all time LHW's and has done alot. dont forget someone's past accomplishments because of a couple of losses. they happen.

I don't want to jump ahead of the gun but I really don't see Wanderlei losing this one.
