Franklin is PURE CLASS
win lose or draw tomorrow would like to say that rich is the most respectful classeist guy in mma the respect between him and silva is amazing and shows how far this sport has come.thats my 1 genuine thought of today now back to sex and violence

I agree...I think both he and "The Spida" are a touch of class in a rough sport.
I would like to see Rich reclaim his title and eventually have a rubber-match with them at 1-1 against each other.
I have Franklin picked to win by submission in the 2nd round. I think if he decides to stand and trade that Silva is gonna latch onto his neck again and then it's "here come da knees". I expect them to both explode in the first round with the Champ taking it 10-9. Second round Franklin shoots, gets the take down, does some ground and pound then takes an arm. But he'd better not get the take down stuffed cause Silva will punish the crap out of you when you miss.

true, but they are among several atheletes in the UFC who carry themselves in similar fashion.
just look at St. Pierre, BJ Penn, Randy, etc.

I have to agree. Rich is without a doubt, one of the most classiest guys in the UFC. During the weigh-in's today, when they brought out Anderson Silva, Rich wanted the crowd to get up and cheer for the Spider and not BOO him. I like both dudes so I'll be happy for whoever wins.

I agree. I do think that the title should have been Franklin AND Silva are classy though.
The respect was reciprocated - not just shown by Franklin. |

Yeah both have always (as far as I can remember) been very classy guys. Like after Franklins UFC 68 fight when Silva came into the ring. Class act by both men.

Franklin's classy nature is exactly why the UFC wants him as their poster boy. he is intelligent and speaks well in interviews. its probably surprising for people that don't know him to find out that Rich is a big time fighter.
