“The game is filled with pussies, you know what I mean? It’s filled with them guys. Of course, how cool is it, you know, you go in there, you tell all your mates that you’re going to be fighting and you go in and you kill the guy in 10 seconds. It looks great, of course. It’s not like me. I come in there and I’m taking on the best guy in the ******* city or in the area or whatever and we have an absolute war and it’s three rounds and I’m beat up and I can’t even ******* train for four or five weeks. Of course, that’s the hard road. It’s not pretty, it’s not easy, but I felt that if you want to be a fighter, if you want to be in the sport, then this is the right approach. So hopefully in time it will change. I will keep exposing all of the guys that are padding their records, I will keep pointing the finger at them and I will never have respect for anyone who tries to pad his record. If you want my respect, you gotta earn it. And I always give credit where credit is due.”
If Artem had more speed I'd be more confident. If Cub implements a take down heavy game plan then he's good. If he loses his sh*t and decides to engage in a brawl then it's The Russian Hammer.

The truth is, Artem has fought everybody, he fought the best fighters available. John you're on block so don't bother, I can't read it, you have the privilege of being the my first person on block, took me over 7 years to do it!
A lot of people feel like they're invincible and untouchable.
They believe they should naturally take on the biggest challenges they can find. Fight the toughest opponents to prove themselves.
That road Artem favors could take an unnecessary higher toll on the human body. Sometimes it might be better for people to know their limits and pace themselves.
If someone is training to run a marathon, they don't run a full 26 miles the first day of training.
If someone is training to bench press 600 lbs, they don't start out with 600 lbs on the bar.
In training to become a fighter, it might be better to start small and fight less experienced people, then work their way up.
Rather than throw themselves in a cage with the toughest people they can find, before they're prepared to fight at that level.
Its admirable that some people like Artem (and possibly CM Punk) want to fight the toughest guys they can find to prove themselves.
