brocks main weakness will be experience....do something in the match that will **** with his mind and his gameplan...the rest will follow

if brock is serious about this and lays off the roids....i could definately see him doing some damage in this division.....

agreed. O'Brien's fight with Herring was boring, while it makes sense that he tried to steal a fan base from someone like Lesner (since his only fans now are surely Team Punishment fans) his name isn't nearly big enough to merit such a fight. They should spoon feed Lesner Assuerio Silva or someone else, just to ensure that the guy belongs in the UFC before giving him a real fighter.

Lesnar via slam

I don't think there is a man in the HW division that is going to be able to match this man's strength. If Brock Lesnar gets ahold of your body, your going down and it's going to hurt. To be this guy your either going to have to have great striking skills w/ KO power or one hell of a submission game off your back. Because you will not keep Lesnar on his back at all.

i don't think "keeping him on his back" will be the problem (wrestlers typically aren't great at working off their back if they haven't trained in all the aspects of mma). the problem would be getting him down. all of this is assuming brock passes steroid tests.

keeping him on his back wont be a problem, i mean cmon even if you get a wrestler on his back i think he would be able to get up pretty easily since hes probably trained to get off his back quickly in so that he doesnt get pinned

i dont know if you understand what im sayin but w/e

also if anyone has seen his physique i dont think he is on steiroids, hes not as ripped as ppl on steroids, ppl on steroids usually look really veiny.

Brock is a beast. He passed in Cali, so won't he pass in Neveda? He is rumored or stated he wants to work with a Gracie to get his bjj up. Brock knows what he needs to work on and is it doing that. I think Eilers or Wellisch would be fun. For his first match there is just too much working against someone like AA-if he wins wow, he beat a wrassler, if he loses it was scripted or AA is done. I would love to see the match up but down the line not first thing.

Agreed, although I doubt they'll bring Eilers back since he hasn't beaten a top fighter.. well.. ever really. But I would like to watch Eilers get his remaining teeth knocked out.

Because BJJ+wrestling>wrestling alone. I'm sure he's training some standup also though I admit I haven't checked. But anyway a big guy with BJJ will beat a smaller guy with equal BJJ. Why bring a knife to a gunfight? Even if you're just going to use your BJJ to avoid submissions, mount and GNP (like Lesnar already did in his first MMA fight with mount in about 10 seconds flat), and understand about getting a good base and keeping your hooks in, etc., it will help you out. More skills plus power = more pain for Brock's opponents.

Im fully aware that BJJ being added to Brocks repetoire can only help him I was just questioning if its the best thing to be focusing on for a guy his size, I really dont know much about BJJ but was always under the impression that it was more a small mans style that wasnt as suited for a bigger stronger guy I was actually asking a question more than making a statement. As for striking Im actually kinda intriuged to watch Brocks stand up as try as I might I have a lot of trouble picturing Brock performing a high kick and would actually probably burst out laughing if he could actually perform one.

I knew you were asking a question, I thought I honestly answered it? BJJ in a big guy can be a very powerful offensive weapon. It is not less effective for a big guy, the bigger guy still wins, with two equal BJJ guys. BJJ is very helpful and important for pretty much anyone in MMA even those who do not choose to use it as their bread and butter, so they can defend against those guys who DO use it for their bread and butter. Plus if a guy leaves an arm or neck hanging out, why not grab hold of it if you know how, so knowing BJJ is a good idea for anyone.

I'm sure he is training standup too, just too lazy to try to look it up. But he will have to have at least minimal striking on the feet. He has shown so far he can seriously GNP a guy once he mounts. But against a better BJJ guy, I guess we'll see.
