Didn't expect this at all. Pretty damn cool to be able to nail these high flying maneuvers.

United: Excuse me sir, we're going to ask you to leave on your accord or by our security.
Dr: Drag me, I dare ya.

I feel like thats kind of dumb statement and the whole thing silly. If the cops ask you to get up and leave just do it. Also what are you going to do with BJJ if 3 or 4 cops grab you and lets say okay you grab one of them.....while thats happening the other 2 or 3 are macing you and beating you. Yeah Good thing you had BJJ. That really helped the situation in an aisle barely big enough to move a baby carrier through.

You have to see that this was a joke. No one is seriously suggesting fighting police who are dragging you away.

Omg. Another one.

This kind of reminds me of Rosa Parks.

Some say people should have a right to healthcare.

If someone pays good money for an airplane ticket, should they have a basic right to what they paid for?

Maybe an example of how corporations and the state trod upon human rights? And why we may need greater separation of corporation and state?

:confused02:
I thought this picture was hilarious. But come on man... you can't compare Rosa Parks to this.

This was a COMPANY who used fine print in a contract to do some shady shit. They randomly picked the seat. The company is shady as hell. No one is denying that.

Rosa Parks was fighting a law which was racist in nature. I seriously hope people can see the difference. If not, I worry about our society.

Apparently a 76 year old pastor got booted off a plane peacefully days after and was given a free voucher. He subsequently sued for $6 million...haha.

I thought about this. If I wasn't in a rush I would push for free upgrades in 1st class for a certain period of time. If i was in the same scenario as the doctor I think there's a general consensus on what to do. He just won the jackpot. You paid for your seat, then for some inexplicable reason asked to leave out of hundreds of other passengers, and done so in a forceful manner. Can't see how this is winning for the airlines. What I would have done if I was in the upper level management (United) was asked for any volunteers to give up there seats for free vouchers and upgrades. Once again if I wasn't in a rush I might just take them up on that offer and enjoy the full amenities.

It's not like the first class or even business class seats are ever full. In the same tolkien I feel kinda bad for the airlines cuz they have to deal with irate customers all the time and it's a seriously volatile market when your industry is completely based on external factors; seasonal, wars, terrorism, petrol prices, and ultimately any current events. The next time you guys purchase a ticket look carefully on your ticket. In addition to the taxes you'll see a "security" fee. Yah, that got implemented after 9/11. Ticket prices have gone through the roof in a very short time.

Another incident.

(ZHE) For U.S. airlines’ public relations teams, April has been the cruelest month on record.

Less than two weeks after a 69-year-old doctor, David Dao, was hospitalized after Chicago aviation police dragged him from a United Airlines plane sparking international outrage and a public relations nightmare for the carrier, it is now American Airlines’ turn to be in the spotlight. The airline just suspended a male flight attendant after a video emerged showing him challenging a passenger to a fight after allegedly hitting a woman with a stroller during boarding.

The video, filmed before Flight 591 departed from San Francisco on Friday afternoon, shows the airline staff member goading a passenger and saying, ‘hit me.’

Facebook user Surain Adyanthaya, who recorded the incident, said he started filming after the flight attendant “violently took a stroller from a lady with her baby on my flight, hitting her and just missing the baby.” He added that “they just involuntarily escorted the mother and her kids off the flight and let the flight attendant back on, who tried to fight other passengers. The mom asked for an apology and the AA official declined.”

In his video, the woman with the child can be heard asking flight attendants for the stroller. A male passenger then walks towards the front of the plane and demands from the airline crew the name of the employee who took the stroller before he returns to his seat. Moments later, another American employee, who a spokeswoman confirmed was a flight attendant, enters the plane and the male passenger confronts him.

“You do that to me and I’ll knock you flat,” the passenger can be heard saying to the flight attendant.

The staff member responds by pointing his finger at the man and telling him to ‘stay out of it.’ The male passenger then steps closer to the employee, who challenges him to a fight.
