I have said from the moment I heard that Liddell would only fight Wanderlei if he beat Jardine, that it was BS.
For one reason and one reason only, MONEY. There is just simply too much money to be made for Dana off of this fight to let it go undone. So IMO the announcement is with out a doubt going to be that Wanderlei is facing Liddell at UFC 79: Nemesis. Fitting isn't it. But if it isn't Liddel who do you think that Dana is going to pit against Wanderlei? Discuss. But either way I will be watching and you should too.

Although I agree it will most likley be Liddell, Tito wouldn't suprise me either. I would be pleasantly suprised if it was Hendo, but I doubt it

Like I said I think that there is just too much money to be made off of Liddell and Wanderlei. But hopefully after Wanderlei completely destroys Chuck we will get to see a rematch of Wanderlei v Henderson. Those are always two that I would pay to see. Wanderlei is a monster and Henderson always puts on a good show due to his wresling ability and his HUGE overhand right.
Wandy also called out Forrest after the Shogun fight, but I agree that it will probably be Chuck anyway. It doesn't matter much to me who he fights, I'll be equally excited about it whoever it is, just because it's Wandy's first fight after he got signed.

Only problem with that is that I believe that Forrest is next up for a title shot. He has had some impressive wins and now that he beat what people consider the #1 contender, I believe that he has earned his shot. Besides who else is deserved of a title shot right now besides him. There are plenty of other fights that can determine contenders for example Wanderlei v Liddell; Bisbing v Evans; Tito v Anybody; Shogun v Henderson. You catch my drift. So I think for right now Forrest will get the next shot in order to have some time to sort out the rest of the competition.
Guys Its Dana WhiteHe's gonna do whatever gets him the most money. By the way I think the Zuffa brass should talk some more try to be diplomatic cuz dana is rubbin alot of people the wrong way!!!!!
Forrest Griffin beats wanderlei Silva when ever it happens........who does wandy think h is just callin people out

I'd rather see him fight Tito to avenge his loss and then Chuck and then Quinton for the title.
i think that was an option
but tito prob made excuses.....i mean he wont wanna fight wandy yet....might as well see wandys stock rise in the ufc.....because his technically will to

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.
Griffin shouldn't get the title shot before Jardine. Jardine shouldn't get the title shot before Alexander. But that doesn't mean that's how its gonna happen. Even after Dana gave Wand all that shit about "not being ready for Chuck until he gets a few more wins" after Wand lost to CroCop and Hendo... there's no way he's gonna pass up a chance to bank off of Chuck v. Wand. Even though it's a shitty UFC intro fight (because there's few places to go from here without giving either fighter an undeserved title shot), it'll be interesting to watch.
