Why doesn't Daniel Cormier or other fighters get liposuction?

I've been wondering about this, but the way in Daniel clearly had loads of flab on his stomach. Why doesn't he just get all sucked out with liposuction, would help him make weight not to mention the cosmetic side benefits. Same to with Big country, just Hoover out the fat.

A bit of flab can help a fighter perform. It sounds counterintuitive, but i.e. the power of a punch comes from velocity and mass. Body fat oviously adds to the mass. Now you may ask, wouldn'd it be better then to have muscle mass instead of fat mass? It depends. The speed of movement is limited, at some point more muscle doesn't make you faster, but would consume more oxygen thereby tire you out more quickly. You have to find the right balance between being completely ripped pure muscle and fat for best performance. It depends also a bit on the person and fighting style.

Liposuction can leave some unsightly scars.

I would guess Roy Nelson & others wouldn't want to blemish their perfect midsections.

Plastic surgery is giving in to your insecurities.

Its butchering your body the way that female circumcision does.

Unhealthy for the soul, to say the least.

Hard work is the only real PED.

Prospects -- Doo Hoo Choi, Ashlee Evans Smith, Mickey Gall, Sage Northcutt, Thomas Almeida, Yair Rodriguez, Lorenz Larkin, Robert Whittaker

I totally missed the memo I've not heard people talk about it for ages and this is probably the reason why but some years back it was a huge big thing I'm talking 20+ years

I've seen young women in their 20's who have what I suspect are liposuction scars. It doesn't look like a normal scar, its more like the skin in an area where the fat was sucked out can look uneven and deformed.

Liposuction as a procedure might not work better now than it did 20 years ago.
