Randy is holding his own press conference tomorrow: What to expect?

I cant wait for this one. Personally i think Mr. Captain America has a few things to clarify. Dana has been very active in clearing his and UFC name against Randys arguments and to tell you the truth a lot of what Dana is saying is making sense. But like Dana says, don't ever count Randy Couture out. I'm sure Randy is going to talk more in detail about this dispute and we'll find out more juicy details. Then of course Dana will make a show on Spike about this and make Randy look like Tito

Either way its goign to be interesting to see how this is going to unfold. What do you expect from this conference tomorrow?

UFC just released the news that they will be announcing their new TV Deal: In conflict with Randy's conference.
Quote:
In addition to announcing the new TV deal, UFC president Dana White will be introducing Lesnar to the media following his recent addition to the UFC’s heavyweight division.

Liddell and Silva will be available to the media for the first time since White officially announced last night that the long-awaited showdown between the two light heavyweight icons is scheduled for Dec. 29 at UFC 79.

And yes, I don’t think it’s more than a coincidence that the UFC has scheduled a conference call to go head-to-head with Randy Couture’s press conference in Las Vegas. While the UFC will be starting their conference call a half and hour before Couture’s press conference, it’s a safe bet that the UFC will not be done after 30 minutes. If they were holding a press conference on the same day but at a completely separate time,

I’d say it would be a smart move on the UFC’s part because there will be a lot of media in Vegas to cover Couture and by holding a press conference the same day, you make it real easy for the media to cover both press conferences. However, Couture is having a press conference in which the media has to appear in person while the UFC is holding a conference call, where the only way to access is via phone. Out of all the days to schedule a conference call?

i thought this was suppose to happen yesterday

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.

Nah Thursday for sure. I'm getting kinda anxious here, not so much about what Dana has to say (news we already know) but how Couture is going to throw down his side of the story. What Randy says 2mor can really put the UFC in a different perspective and considering Randy's pull on fans for being such a genuine classy guy, negative talk from his mouth can go long ways.

I'm hoping Randy tells us he has been in contact with Fedors people and that they have a date for a fight early next year at the M-1 debut.

I don't expect this, as Dana would not allow it, but I can dream can't I?

Okay so let me get this straight:

Randy is going to have an in-person news conference on Thursday, where no one seems to know what he'll talk about.

Now the UFC, decides they're going to have a teleconference starting half an hour before hand? That sounds a little fishy. In fact if anything, it makes me want to hear what Randy has to say even more because the UFC is going out of its way to distract people from hearing it. Not only that but if they start before hand they'll say their bit and hopefully hear what he has to say and immediately counter it at their own teleconference. Sounds pretty sneaky.

But then again he could just be talking about his new movie and how he's looking forward to making more films, and maybe opening another gym or something while he's got momentum. Now that I think of it, that would be hiliarious.
