I saw Houston at UFC 77 in Cincy. He walked from the floor, up the stairs to the concourse, and I think maybe only 2 or 3 people recognized him. I had to do a double-take, but it was him for sure. Only guy there wearing a Nebraska hat.

It was shocking that so few people even awknowledged his presence.

Cummo and Maynard. Cummo has been putting on good fights for a while. Maynard may not have a big win under his belt but I think when he gets the chance he will rise to the occasion.

yeah Okami lost that fight but Rich didn't do anything in that fight besides push the pace for the first 2 rounds...that is why Okami lost..not b/c Franklin hurt Okami..B/c he never...alll Okami had to do in the second round was push himself alittle more and he would have won that fiught for sure but he didn't...so i still believe they overrlook him..he was ona a Undercard and he's a top 5 mw in the UFC and maybe even the world...

I swear, the whizzer has to be his signature move.

but yeah. def guillard.
and Ironman, you arent the only one that wants to see guillard vs. Huerta.

they fought once already and Melvin put a beating on Huerta and won the match. props to huerta though- he stuck it out to a decision and didnt get KO-ed like most of melvins opponents.
Melvin cheated during the Huerta fight. He was greased up. That's a huge factor in the ass-beating Huerta received.

Guillard's hands are not that great. You guys are blinded by his physique and explosiveness. He has good power, but his technique is IMO not that great. Any technical striker, like Edgar, or Fischer, or Stout, or Florian, would pick him apart. He leaves his face wide open in every exchange. Joe Daddy caught him and dropped him in their very first exchange cuz he knew Guillard had a tendency to leave his face open while throwing...not because Guillard tested positive for coke and is a cocky bastard. It was because Joe punched him in the face, stunned him, then submitted him.

LOL, are you serious? Cole Miller @ 145? That's a hilarious mental picture. He would look like an AIDS patient.

You may be right about him being more deserving than Penn, however Spencer lost that fight against Hermes 2 fights ago, he got TKOed.

My choice for most overlooked fighter that hasn't already been mentioned is Martin Kampmann. He's so overlooked that he hasn't even been mentioned yet

tyler_durden has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Rich Clementi. Melvin Guillard better bring his A-game at UFC 79.
