What I'd like to know is what happened to Mike Dolce cause he had all of these MMA clients making weight and now I haven't heard about him in a long time and all the fighters who used to be under him are missing weight like Hendricks. Another problem with Hendricks is the fact that he missed weight at middleweight. That's fifteen less pounds he didn't have to shed.

The first time or the second time? If it were the first time then that would make sense considering he probably lost that one but got the win. Also if it were the second one that would still make sense considering the fact that losing a match like that will mess with a person.

I think Wonderboy broke him mentally. He made weight, looked in shape and all that but when WB started lighting him up he did NOT look like the same guy with KO confidence or who beat the shit out of GSP. He looked like he literally had no idea what to do even if it was just throw sloppy punches to try and survive.

So I guess that means that Hendricks is mentally weaker then Tyron who went twice the distance with Wonderboy and drew with him the first time. Today with the way scoring is that's when you know a fight was VERY close. A draw is rare and if it goes the distance with no point deductions that means both guys fought hard.

I think you somehow misunderstood me? I never brought up Tyron, but yea Johny is 100% mentally weaker than Tyron. That was never a debate. It sucks those two never got to fight as well. I would've loved to see a Johny vs Tyron fight. I honestly think Johny would've beaten Tyron had they fought. Now it's just a ridiculous conversation to have given Johny can't make weight and may never fight in the UFC again. Who knows what they're gonna do with him at this point?

Well the UFC has just fought former champions until their contracts run out and let them go to Bellator if they get better offers. Maybe that's their plan with Hendricks especially considering his apparent mental break down in terms of weight. Hendricks is a natural welterweight and just the fact that he's at middleweight missing weight is a disgrace.

Apparently not. A natural X-weight doesn't miss weight several times at X-weight and even at X(+1)-weight.

I'd still like to know why no one seems to be working with Mike Dolce anymore. All those fighters were making weight on a regular basis and even though more of them still do you have fighters like Johny Hendricks who were having big weight issues since leaving him. It seems like he left the face of the earth or something.

I don't know about Dulce, but I do think part of the problem many fighters apparently miss weight more often now then before is the new rehydration rules. Fighters got more time now to rehydrate, hence they probably think they can push the dehydration a little bit more, but by that literally almost killing themselves and messing up the rehydration.
