does chuck realize how dangerous silva is

ok fellas what i mean is, chuck loses this one nobody can deny he appeared more dominant than he really is.
and lets face it silva is one mean m%$#@& f&*%$# and he will not try to win the fight or to survive the ice-man or to stand in awe of chucks"greatness" he will be there to destroy him
chuck has never fought an opponent like silva or anybody that really wanted to hurt him.....honestly tell me how he hopes to win and if he loses is he done?
i gotta give the ice-man this... he has some nuts..wandy is the most dangerous opponent out there right now and to fight him when your already on the ropes takes some nerve.
so what do yall say ? does he realize how dangerous this fight is for him?

Well... Chuck needs to win. But I want Wand to build up a huge undefeated UFC streak. IDK who I'll cheer for.

But I think Chuck just wants to get in there and prove that he still is the best. Beating Wand will set him in the right direction for proving that. But if he gets KTFO then... I dont think he'll be "done". But if he drops 4 in a row... YES, he will be done.

I don't disagree with really much of what you said about Silva....he is one nasty customer (albeit one coming off of 2 losses in a row as well lets' not forget ).

But come on....I'd have to say (and of course this is just my opinion) that half a dozen plus successful title defenses is pretty damned dominant. Let's not make it sound like Chuck Liddell was all hype because we all know he isn't.

He lost two in a row....it happens in this game to the best of 'em. There was bound to come a time when his opponents figured that charging in and getting counter-punched with gloves full of dynamite and bricks was not the best way to fight the guy!

Can Chuck return to his winning ways? I believe he can, but it is not going to get any easier. We say it all the time...there just aren't any real "gimme" fights out there anymore...even the lower tiered guys are tough ass pro fighters.

How does if he loses against wandy take anything away from Chuck? Wandy is a great fighter, so losing to him does not mean anything. Chuck will still be the Iceman no matter what happens in the fight. so enough with these stupid threads about chuck if he loses and chuck should retire threads

its like losing to the pats or the colts....its an honor to be in the same league as them

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.

Really, its 2 great legends going at it, how can one guy really come out a "loser", maybe if Chuck pulled a Bo Cantrell and tapped like a bitch, but otherwise no one is really losing anything in the end.

The only big blow to Chucks career was to Jardine, the Rampage loss wasn't bad at all, hes not that over the hill.

I'm sure he knows and doesn't care because he always says he loves to fight and wants to fight the best. Nothing wrong with losing to either of these guys. Hope it's a war... Rooting for Chuck but like Wandy too so just want to see a good fight.

Agreed.

Losing to Jardine is the only real bad loss on his resume. Rampage has his #, simple. Jeremy Horn and Randy Couture need no introduction, and Chuck avenged both in KO fashion.

I dont see how losing to Wandy is gonna take anything away from his legacy, Liddell will still go down as one of the best LHW fighters ever to grace the cage.

if chuck is a true champ, he'll not buy into all the hype and he'll actually realize what a challenge he has before him. cause i'll tell you something, Wandy has never had the losses pile up like he has right now, and i'm sure that makes him more determined than ever to win!

see what Anderson Silva did to Franklin twice??? well Wandy did that sort of thing to Quinton, twice!

chuck better have more than he's shown...

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it
