I'm not too sure either. I think maybe he had too much to prove.

It's hard to say, becasue right after the glove tap he went RIGHT after Silva, then it looks like he changed his mind... then with the chokeslam, I was assuming he was hoping to KO him with that, or get right on top for GnP. I don't think he expected to be reversed so quickly.

He likes to bring it, and that was his problem that fight. I think he had too much pressure to show he can do more, and froze up a bit. Rather than just letting him KO people, everyone got him too concerned with "What about the ground? Can you hang on the ground? Why don't you fight on the ground?" Instead of just enjoying his KO Power.

I'm not going to lie I was a little scared.
I thought Silva fought very intelligently. It was a smart decision not to get into an exchange with Alexander to see who has the better chin. This fight would be Silva's ticket to stardom, so I could see why he was more cautious.

But hey, I think Alexander was a bit worried about Silva's striking as well. He was more cautious and didn't bull charge his opponents like his last two fights.

O no rated I think you miss understand my shock that a Chute Boxe guy fought smart for disappiontment. I mean I'm happy. Real happy actually with not only the result but the style Thiago used to win. I mean if he caught Houston and KO'd him that would be great but he wouldn't prove much this way we know he has a great ground game and can be patient.
