Thiago Silva is a very very good figter too, lets not take that away from this at all....but Houston desperatly needs a ground game. sorta like Konguo in the HW division.
Does he have a "camp"? My impression is that it's more like a pup tent in the back yard. Couture anyone? Or Bas... like Kimbo, Houston needs to round his game out a lot.

Houston will be back with a vengence. I don't think he's a contender, but he's definitely a fun guy to watch.

As usual, well put kds

Is Houston a top 10 lhw?? no, but that doesnt stop me wanting to see him KO some fools in the future.

He is hella exciting and I for one will be glad to see him back in the cage, just cuz he isnt as good as some ppl thought he was shouldn't mean we dont wanna see him again.

Houston can still bring the fun, so I would watch him again. He likes to put on a show, and I can't hate on that.

I was still waiting to see what he had, but it's fine. I'm partial to Chute Boxe fighters, so I wasn't disappointed or surprised.

I'll definitely be watching when this guy fights again. Plenty of fighters have made a good living with effective striking and good takedown defense. Chuck Liddell is a prime example. HA just needs to train with a camp that can teach him to sprawl or get a couple underhooks when he's against the fence.

What I love about Alexander is that edge-of-the-seat feeling I get from knowing that every exchange could be the last one.

That's what I dig, too. The fight can end at any time, and usually it ends violently. With Houston, it's either him finishing or getting finished. He's the anti-Machida.

I am not dissing my boy LYOTO!

I don't see anything great about his standup. All he does is overwhelm people with his strength and throw punches at them. I see nothing technical about it.

He's still one of my favorites, just because he is so fun to watch. Most of my favorite fighters aren't the best, but ones that entertain me. Malaipet is a great example, he has no ground game whatsoever (he throws people to the ground then runs away so they will stand back up), but he is on my list cause he is so damn entertaining.

I'll be really jazzed to see Houston on future cards, especially if he gets someone like Bisping, or maybe the looser of Chuck/Silva. He will probably get some weak guy for his next fight, but I'd love to see him with another stand up guy.

Team Legacy: Fitch, Sakuraba, Alexander, Karo, Horodecki, Malaipet, and Serra
