Jardine is a solid fighter, who has beaten Wilson Gouveia, Chuck Liddell, & Forrest Griffin. Say what you will about him, but the guy comes to freakin' fight. His ground game is actually solid, and his legkicks are pretty rad. I think he & Silva would have a fun fight.

IMO his last two fights have kept him made him look worst and no where near ready to be considered a contender.
Or you can look at it as a draw against a former light heavyweight champion and a win over a solid undefeated fighter.

I'd take winning in boring fashion over losing any day. Seriously, please enlighten me on how Silva is ranked around Evans. I am not saying that Silva could not beat Evans, I am saying that Evans has accomplished more than Silva.

I agree, Just cause his record is undefeated does not mean he is worthy of a top 5 guy,or even most top ten, I don't think any of these guys left in the top ten would have much trouble with him. Forrest would give him a run for his money, Jardine would but I doubt that fight would ever happen.Of course Liddell , Silva, Shogun, would be bad for him, Rampage wouldn't even Break a sweat on him.

Feelings ... What are those?
Neg. rep me all you want, not leavin' your name, thats a b***h move.

JW how do you see Jardine beating him. I think he would lose to Forrest (but he's got a decent shot against him), and that he would lose to Silva, Liddell and Shogun.

Rampage would be intersting. It depends on how he adapts to the Muay Thai Clinch something he hasn't faced since getting killed by Shogun.

Winner of Soku/Machida fights Evans. Silva fights Griffin.

How about Machida vs Silva if Machida wins against Sokoudjou?

If those 2 ever fight and its the main event, I will not buy it. That has boring written all over it, even more so than Evans vs Bisping did, and thats saying something. I'm not jumping on Silva's bandwagon yet, but him beating Alexander was a bump up for him. The public didn't really know who he was. Now they do lol. Silva vs Jardine does sound interesting though, but I don't know if I can take watching Jardine blast off to the moon again hahah

Yeah, but you really dislike LYOTO! so of course you'd think it was boring. I, however, love LYOTO! and his fighting style, so I'd be diggin' it. Dude is so skilled and gifted.

Rashad vs. Thiago does make more sense then Rashad vs. Machida! If Machida gets past Soku he should be fighting a higher tier fighter.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

That is true =P
I don't get it Damone. I can see you liking Karo, and I do too. Karo is (usually) very technical and very good at what he does, even though he normally can't finish a guy. But I don't see what you like so much in LYOTO! I mean, I agree with you, he has skill, and seems gifted, but why would I wanna watch him over someone who is both talented and exciting? He does have some impressive wins, but why is he in turtle mode in the UFC?

edit** Also, I think would be really boring because Evans typically isn't very exciting OR good. Against Bisping, he had himself open to a triangle multiple times while on top of him, and Machida would jump on that. Evans literally would have no chance, another reason why I don't have a need to see it.
