I like Frankie Edgar a lot but if he wants to be the champ he still needs to work on his striking and probably his jiu jitsu but he is solid.

I don't have any idea why people think Sherk will out wrestle Franky.

Franky is the better wrestler by miles. Now if you think Sherk will get him down by strength I understand but pure wrestling it aint even close.

Just because he isn't as strong as Sherk doesn't mean he can't outwrestle him. Assuming Edgar defends the shots and uses good positioning he should be ok. I think Edgar could keep it on the feet if he choose so. But steroid allegations or not, Sherk is a legit monster at 155. Lets not forget his only losses at 170 were to Hughes and St. Pierre, the two strongest guys in that division.

And as far as Edgar not being able to get BJ down. While I think he would have trouble. In a 5 round title fight, with BJ gas tank I think Franky would be able to get him to the ground sooner or later.

ridiculous, three wins in the UFC don't constitute a title shot, especially when they are against guys who are not actually at contender level yet. don't get me wrong, fischer and griffin are very talented pros, but they weren't exactly in line for a title fight themselves yet. there are about five guys ahead of him right now imho.

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

Bro Fisher was supposed to fight Din Thomas in what was going to put some one up where Florian is now. Griffen just beat Taveras and Guida and he is defiantly moving up peoples rankings.

I would like to know who you rank ahead of him?

If he says Roger or Guida I won't take him seriously I mean I like Guida but he has won 1 of his last 3 fights. Huerta's never beaten anyone.

Then you got Florian who honestly beat Mishima who is good but I think Fisher is a better win. He beat Thomas but I don't count that fully since he won the fight after Din's knee gave out on him. and He beat Alvin Robinson who is nothing special.

BJ has only beaten a 145er so **** that

Sherk tested positive for roids and until he wins his appeal he is guilty

Stevenson is ahead of Edgar but not by much I mean Pelligrino, Guillard, Misihma and Edwards is better than Griffen, Bocek, and Fisher.

I know this would be a stepdown for Edgar, but I want to see him fight Diaz, Lauzon, or Miller. Even though Edgar controlled Fisher for 3 rounds, Fisher pretty much neutralizd Edgar's gnp.

I want to see any of these guys can submit Edgar off their back. Griffin is (probably) the best grappler Edgar has fought and he came close to submitting him. However, Griffin is from a wrestling background instead of a jitz background.

^ I think Robinson will be a big force in the lightweight division.

Yes, he dominated using his wrestling. Spencer looked totally confused and could not do anything. I am a huge Fisher fan...still am. Very disappointed in his performance.

But Edgar did no real damage...Fisher never was in any real trouble...except that he just could not out-wrestle Frankie.

Only problem with that is that this ain't wrasslin'. I don't wanna watch wrasslin'. But whatever...I guess it is what it is.
