This fight was awesome and man do I feel bad for Lytle now. That cut wasn't anything to stop the fight over! Joe, Goldie, Lytle, and even Alves were all bitching about that stoppage. Lytle was winning that fight too, even with the cut. He was eating some nasty leg kicks but he was still winning, he was landing flurries like every exchange. The cut happened from the first punch Alves landed, he even admitted it was a lucky hit.

I gained a lot more respect for both these guys after watching this fight. Lytle looks exciting and aggressive as hell and Alves is such a nice guy and his leg kicks and composure are pretty impressive.

I hope to see a rematch between these 2 before either of them start moving up the ranks. Alves got the W, but Lytle was clearly winning the fight.

If there is a rematch, I hope they can get it on the main card next time.

these 2 fighters definately should be on the main card, for me it was the best fight of the night. i wouldn't like to call the rematch, could go either way.

I had it a round a piece. A third should've happened.

I also second a main card rematch. If there is one, I'd love to see it headline an UFN.

I can agree with a round a piece, Alves was working those leg kicks pretty good in round 2 and Lytle didn't look like he was enjoying it too much. I hope they learned their lesson this time about putting all the exciting fights on the damn prelims.

Yea I dont understand why they put the exciting fighters on the bottom card. Lytle is hardly in any boring fights. Much like the Parysian fans would argue of him.

Chris was landing some good shots in the first round, awesome 1, 2, step kick combos with decent damage with it.

I guess a round each is fair, and I can see a rematch taking place later on. Well, maybe late sometime next year. I didnt actually see the cuts, but if they were bad enough to stop the fight, then Chris could be out for a few months.
