A new Chris Lytle?
Chris Lytle was awesome!
i just watched the chris lytle v thiago alves fight, wow what a fight it's a real shame it didn't go to the third round. chris lytle was really impressive and pretty much dominated the boxing for the first 2 rounds but alves leg kicks were amazing too. i think it would have gone to a decesion and it could have gone either way.
should this fight have been stopped?

I've always thought of Lytle as a bland but tough fighter. (boy that rhymes)
But he impressed me this time, I hope he comes back and keeps his newfound aggressive style.

Man. He looked amazing!! I just watched it. I put a link the fight in the vids section. He was always boring to me. Joe said Chris decided to be more aggressive from now on. Im actually looking forward to seeing him fight again. Here is a link for whoever didnt see it. http://mmafightvideos.blogspot.com/s...label/ufc%2078

Yeah, they need to put Lytle on the main card. I mean, what else does he have to do? The guy wins Submission of the Night at UFC 73 and then comes back with Fight of the Night at UFC 78. He deserves more than anyone right now to be showcased on the bigger stage of PPV.
Hopefully Zuffa rewards him with the rumored WEC Welterweight Title match against Carlos Condit very soon. I had heard somewhere that Lytle wants the fight, but Condit won't sign the deal. I'm not sayin Condit is scared of him, but Lytle could definitely give him some problems.

Lytle's always been able to adapt. He's about as well-rounded as you can get. Seriously, the guy needs to be fighting Condit for the WEC title. He's good enough to be in the UFC, but the WEC needs more solid WW's, and Lytle could be one of those solid WW's.
