I prefer paying for it. I get some buddies over, fill the fridge with beer and watch it on my 50" HD. Nothing much is cooler than that. Afterwards we pony up for bets won or lost and then get a game of poker going. Trying to hear it at a bar just doesn't compare. I'm going to have to be a bit more selective about which ones I buy in the future. I actually felt guilty about ruining Saturday night for everyone with that stupid Evans/Bisping card. The money isn't really an issue. It's worth it to me.

i go to bars, its just way better, more of a live atmosphere, and all bars in the toronto area show the fight as of the last year or two, and some in my area have amazing screens (100-150inch plus projectors or huge LCDs)basically mini movies, comfy seats, good beer..

sure some places are better then others but the best places are downright awsome, nothing like you could have at home. its live, people are cheering not just on tv but around you, you have your friends, its an event. much better then sitting at home, twiddling your fingers.

FTA (Free To Air) against the law? Yes. Reason it is is because you are using an aftermarket software on it to decrypt the signal.

Torrent a few hours after the event against the law? Yes Ever read or listen to those portions that the illegal distrobution of this....blah blah....is strictly prohibited....blah blah.....?

Steaming againt the law? Yes unless you paid for it from a legit company. Same reason as above.

If it werent for one of the above I probably wouldve never started watching UFC. Ive been doing one of the above for over 6 years now in several different variations.

Imagine your cable bill if you ever watched every PPV every month and Watched all the sporting events. That would be pretty expensive wouldnt it?

It really depends on the card. If there aren't any fights I'm excited about (Validation) I'll just watch it online for free. If there are some fights I'm stoked to see (Nemesis) I call up bout 5 friends and we go watch it at someone's house.

With the amount of T.V. fta gives you a person would be broke within a month... Watching events isn't cheap and I've been turned off boxing after the de la Hoya - Mayweather fight.

Wouldn't you love to see mayweather in a cage against a grappler or wrestler somebody that comes up close and gets down for the dirty?
