Sean Sherk vs. Kenny Florian
I havent heard much talk about this fight lately. I think it is because everyone seems to think Sherk is gonna blow right through Kenflo. I think Sherk will win but I dont think it is gonna be an easy fight for him. We have never seen Sherk fight at this weight and we already saw Kenny blast right through Sam Stout(who beat Spencer Fisher). So i think Kenny can do okay in this fight. I still pick Sherk to win but Kenny will impress alot of people in this fight, and in doing so hopefully earn some respect across the MMA world.

ya i agree. I think kenny has 25% chance of winning this fight. He has good ground work and he has nasty elbows. all it takes is one elbow to win this.

I dont think people should count Kenny out just yet he's a tough guy whos improved much since the show I think if he wins it'll be by TKO (cut) but Sherk is much stronger and he'd definatly take a decison if it goes the distance. I'll im saying is, it wont be a cake walk for Sherk.

Why is this fight even happening? Sherk is gonna murder this goofy bastard. I don't think Kenny's all that great. The people Joe Silva matches him up with make him look great though. And I'm sooooo sick of hearing about his elbows....ANYBODY can cut someone open once with an elbow. He's not anything special, it doesn't take much talent to blindly swing an elbow and hit someone in the nose and end a fight. Anybody decent and wellrounded he faught he lost to, and that's just Diego and Fickett. His last 2 fights were against people with absolutely no ground game other than a guard, pure stand up fighters, a kickboxer and a Muay Thai champ, and guess where he beat them? I'm not too thrilled about a guy getting a title shot when he's 4-2. Also Jdun11, you said we haven't ever seen Sherk at this weight, but Sherk faught at lightweight for a looong time and he's actually undefeated as a lightweight. There is no possible way Florian beats Sherk unless it's rigged. Sherk will dominate this fight. It's gonna look the same way it looked when Diego beat his ass.

he is 7-2...kenny is not a bad fighter. He takes what he knows and exposes a weak spot. I do think shark will win but its not forsure

when was the last time he faught at this weight??not recently..i think sherk will win but i just dont think its as easy as alot of people think..sherk could do what diego did to him but i doubt it, kenny has improved alot

Sherdog has him at 4-2 that's where I got my source from. Where does it say he's 7-2? and who were the other 3 he beat?
Does anybody else think Sherk has faught at lightweight before or am I completely mistaken?? I coulda swore he faught at lightweight but I'm starting to have doubts...I can't remember...where's spit206fire when you need him? |
