Word, also adding in that Swick weighed in at about 192lbs trying to make weight for his last 205er.

It's a tough call, I do want Swick to win though. Amazing matchup for his first 170 though, props to da peeps.

Swick weighs about 183 when he fights at 185. I mean I'm pretty sure he is about the same size if not smaller than he AKA training partners Fitch and Koscheck.

I mean Swick has gone 5-1 in the UFC being smaller than everyone he's fought. At WW he should be close or bigger than size wise to most of the fighters.

Swick has been working on this at AKA for a while. They have cut him down to 170 and had him spend all day sparring.

The cut shouldn't be much of a problem.

Nice matchup, but a BAD one for Swick. Burkman will just take him down and win a boring UD. I would have loved to see Swick fight another striker. Swick/Alves would have RULED.

Couldn't disagree more Jdun. I mean Okami got him down but a couple of those takedowns had more to do with Okami's strength than Swick's TDD. Burkman isn't nearly as strong as Okami or as good on the ground.

I don't think Burkman will keep Swick down the whole fight and standing Swick is dangerous. He has rocked almost everyone he's faced. When he connects with a flurry you really have to hope the round is almost over because he keeps throwing punches and they don't stop till the ref stops him.

Good point, I didn't remember how badly he had Okami rocked. Riggs, though, is a bad comparison. Dude shows up to fight as much as I show up for class.

Swick does, however, seem to fall apart under major pressure (ie. Okami being too strong), but I'm only judging that from his one performance. I don't see Burkman putting that kind of pressure on Swick at any time during the fight, but I don't see this being overly exciting, either.
