Cro Cop NEEDS to win his next fight or he is royally screwed. Bringing Arlovski to fight him would be a great return fight for Arlovski.

I don't want CC to fight Arvloski just yet. There's way too big a chance of him losing. And if he loses now, his career is ****ed.
I just want him to stay in the picture until he regiains his confidence...then I want him to knock arvloski, lol.

I'm against giving cro cop the pit bull. Just not fair for other fighters. A.A. should be somewhere near the title picture like Dana before his fight and Cro Cop should be given a can (or somebody he can beat) so he could raise his confidence. If Cro Cop builds momentum and strings two wins in a row then have him back in the title hunt. So looking at both fighters last two fight and them being polar oppisites at 2-0 and 0-2 really doesn't make much sense to me even though it would be a good fight.

Whoever his opponent is, and whenever the fight is, Mirko needs to come in with a more sophisticated game plan next time.
Guys are figuring out how to beat his style — with pressure. You close the distance a la Fedor, and try to either get him on the ground like Gonzaga or clinch him like Kongo.
Cro Cop needs to stop letting himself get neutralized so easily. He has to learn how to control the Octagon, instead of letting in control him.

I think it so funny that people moan and bitch and complain when contenders are given cans and then in the next breath they want to give their fav fighter a can. Just a off topic observation.

But the Pit Bull VS CroCop could actually be quite the snorefest. It looks great on paper but AA has been a tentative poon since he got KO'd by Sylvia and CroCop lets just face it has lost his fire. It might end up being a boring 3 round fight like CC's and AA's last fights.

But you can't forget that if a "can" upsets the favorite it can boost the "cans" reputation 10 fold. So it could be considered a win / win situation for both of them. But giving a say a contender a can is nothing cause being a lower opponent doesn't do much to improve their positiion and wouldn't be considered a reputable win because the other person wasn't as well known.

But to consider Cro Cop top talent after two loses is a mistake I would think he would have to string together at least two victories before the bandwagon fans jump back on the train.

Crocop is top talent he just isnt a top fighter anymore. I think a fighters drive is more important than anything else. Look at what has happened to Liddell, Hughes, GSP, etc. When your mind isnt right and you dont really want to fight you can lose to anybody.

The Pit Bull VS CroCop is a fight I would love to see. I also think both of these guys need to fight a "name" and win to get them back on track. AA did just beat a "name" in his last fight but it was boring and AA took a hilarious bitch slap. (I only watch that fight now because I think that is one of the funniest MMA moments of all time. ) The bottom line is both need an impressive win. If they both bring it like they are capable of it could be the most explosive fight MMA has ever seen. But I think they have just lost that killer instinct which made them great. It's actually kinda sad.
