Should make for a great season and a hell of a LHW title fight at the end. I don't think it's holding the division back as much as some people say because Rampage isn't even ready to go yet. He's still nursing his injury so he can't fight right now anyway.
In the meantime this gives necessary time to sort out the top contendors in the division for a shot at the winner of Rampage/Griffin because the LHW division is very competitive right now. We can see where Liddell, Silva, Jardine, Shogun, Alexander, Evans, etc, stand.
If we can get a great TUF 7 season, some new middleweights trainded by two of the best fighters in the world, sort out the LHW rankings, and culminate it all with a great LHW title fight, I'm all for it.
I see nothing to be upset about.

That is an excellent choice. It's going too make for a great draw- who wouldn't wnat too see two well known, and charismatic fighters coach.
With all the rumors about which division would be on the next TUF, it actually is a surprise. LHW was not really in discussion.

I dunno, cool I guess. The only thing I don't like is waiting all those months to see a title fight. I don't imagine this will be a season full of negativity like season 6 was. Maybe they'll actually focus on the development of the fighters rather than the pathetic bickering between the coaches?

uh. does this mean rampage wont defend until around summer of nex year? i thought winner of wanderlei / liddell gets rampage. wat if rampage loses the title then.. rampage vs griffin wouldnt b a title fight. but wait if its showing in april that means its about to take place soon so that means thers no way rampage could b training for either chuck or wandy cause he be doin the show which really means forrest is the #1 contender & not the winner of chuck / wandy. this is confusing. i guess like serra, rampage will not defend his title for almost a year. wow, was that hand injury really that bad?

Not to sure how either will do as coaches but I can say having Jackson as a coach will bring in a lot more viewers, the guy is gold for TV.
I am upset that this will delay a LHW Title fight anytime soon, but this wouldn't be the first time it's happened so we'll just have to deal with it.

i think he was trying to say, by delaying the progression of the LHW belt by putting rampage on as a coach just so TuF can get better ratings is making it more like microwave dinner reality show entertainment than a sport.
its turning more into wwf every month now.

Liddell and Wandy have lost their last two fights, and are at least two or three fights off from title contention (Wandy might be closer due to an oh so sweet match with Rampage)

Load of bollocks. This sport will never be taken seriously as long as the UFC keep pulling stunts like these. The LHW division is stacked and now we're going to have to unnecessarily wait months for a title fight in the division. And the worst thing about it, an undeserving fighter will be getting the shot. Rampage will eat Griffin up.
