Very interesting, I want Chuck to win for a couple of reasons. I'm not ready to see him go and I have no idea what he'll decide to do after a third loss. Wandy's re-debuting for the UFC and considering what kind of fighter he is, he will be in the mix at 205 regardless of a loss, his contract is fresh (even though he can't afford another loss as well, atleast it's with a kind of "new" organization to him. It's not that type of "ending-career" pressure Chuck has) Finally, I gotta repeat that I'm just not ready to see Chuck go. If he loses I hate having that "up in the air" feeling of what he'll do next, I had that feeling after Page, I had it after Jardine, and this time it might be the one, I just want ma boy back!

Yeah, me too. But I like Wandy too. So idk, I think it'll go to the 3rd round, and that's where the end will be, either decision or KO, no subs i don't think lol

I think you are wrong about chuck winning tho. Wandy is taking this fight very seriously, and trust me he is addressing his "aggressive" striking with randy right now. Theyre working on this im sure and you will see a new wandy, better then ever. My prediction, Wandy via tko late in the 3rd.

no offence man
but randy isnt the best guy to go to on advise of beating chuck
rampage on the other hand lol

Who do you guys think he will fight if he does manage to pull this fight off? Do you think that he might fight Tito or Houston Alexander?

I think the biggest difference in the fight is that wand's 2 losses weren't in the ufc. If chuck can't put wandy down he's gonna get really nervous and I think start to panic and since he's always been more of a counter-fighter it's gonna be hard for him to press the fight. I like both guys but i'm goin with silva. If either guy connects the other could go down both have serious power.

My money's on Silva. Anything can happen, but I actually think Chuck is going to have a hard time with Wandy's style. Silva fights inside alot and that seems to give Chuck problems. In my mind, Silva is the Anti-Chuck.
Regardless of the outcome, I want to see Wandy fight Rampage one more time, Tito Ortiz again, and then Forrest Griffin. That would be a fun ride!

But i feel some people are writing chuck off already, ive looked at forums and poll's and loads more people beleive wanderlai's gonna beat chuck. Which i can understand because he lost to rampage twice and silva beat rampage twice but i dont see silva beating liddell at all.
I think wanderlai is the perfect opponent for chuck, he doesent back off, he always pushes the pace, but more importantly he fights straight down the middle and when he strikes he swings like a madman leaving himself wide open. All i can picture in this fight is that when silva goes toe to toe with chuck, liddells gonna pick the perfect shot to knock silva out, just like when babalu chased chuck in the 2nd fight and randy chased him in their 2nd fight. Their recklessness got them knocked out.
But silva might have a whole new gameplan for this fight you never know, i wouldnt be over suprised if he won, but my moneys on chuck, i think its gonna end in round 1 as well (hope not though)
People beleive Liddells has past it, I dont, randy lost 2 fights at heavyweight to come back and beat chuck, randy also came back after liddell knocked him out twice to win the heavyweight title, i know people wll say 'you cant compare anyone to randy' but i beleive chuck will be around for a while, he hasnt sustained any major injuries and he'll always have that KO power.
Im calling it now - Liddell KO - Early in the 1st round

I disagree. He looked horrible and unimproved in his fight against Jardine. Although I hope he bring it, I don't think he will. He keeps his hands down to much. Thats why Rampage KO'd him, that why I believe Wandy will KO him. Look at his competition before these two. Tito Babalu and Randy. They arn't exactly know for their punching power. Although a lot of people say Wandy is the perfect opponent for him, I think he is the polar opposite. Especially now that Wandy is training with Couture, which will significantly help with him developing game plans (Forrest is a living testimate to what Randy can do)

Chuck does have the perfect style to beat Silva but I'm not counting on it. I think Wandy wants it more at this point and is ready for a comeback
