Before i start i want to say that i am a fan of both fighters and am looking forward to a awesome fight at ufc 79.
But i feel some people are writing chuck off already, ive looked at forums and poll's and loads more people beleive wanderlai's gonna beat chuck. Which i can understand because he lost to rampage twice and silva beat rampage twice but i dont see silva beating liddell at all.

I think wanderlai is the perfect opponent for chuck, he doesent back off, he always pushes the pace, but more importantly he fights straight down the middle and when he strikes he swings like a madman leaving himself wide open. All i can picture in this fight is that when silva goes toe to toe with chuck, liddells gonna pick the perfect shot to knock silva out, just like when babalu chased chuck in the 2nd fight and randy chased him in their 2nd fight. Their recklessness got them knocked out.

But silva might have a whole new gameplan for this fight you never know, i wouldnt be over suprised if he won, but my moneys on chuck, i think its gonna end in round 1 as well (hope not though)

People beleive Liddells has past it, I dont, randy lost 2 fights at heavyweight to come back and beat chuck, randy also came back after liddell knocked him out twice to win the heavyweight title, i know people wll say 'you cant compare anyone to randy' but i beleive chuck will be around for a while, he hasnt sustained any major injuries and he'll always have that KO power.

I do not know who is going to win this one but either way it wouldn't really be a surprise. The only way you could catch me off guard is if Chuck wins via ankle lock or something absurd like that. Both have very strong chins even though they both have been KO'ed recently. They both like to throw and they both have unimaginable power. I could actually see a freaking double KO or something. If there is any advantage at all in fighting styles I will have to give it to Chuck because his punches come in at really awkward angles and are not easy to block.

I think you are wrong about chuck winning tho. Wandy is taking this fight very seriously, and trust me he is addressing his "aggressive" striking with randy right now. Theyre working on this im sure and you will see a new wandy, better then ever. My prediction, Wandy via tko late in the 3rd.

i think that chuck has a shot of beating wand but i don't see it happening. wandy is taking this fight very seriously and there has been no proof that chuck is. he was with a guy trying to find his spiritual side or something like that so he can't be training to hard. i think that if chuck loses this fight then he may announce his retirement.

I agree with you that Wandy is taking this fight very seriously and since he is training with couture, I know he is going to come in with a real nice game plan...so I'd say the odds are in his favor, but Chuck always has the power to knock you out with one punch.
On the other hand though, if he loses it will be 3 in a row for chuck. I can see him trying to go out with a bang with a final Tito vs Chuck for a final payday.
