Tito definitely has the strength and wrestling advantage, but Shogun has very good BJJ and unorthodox striking. It should be a good fight if it were to happen. Please do! I want to see Tito get his ass beat since Rashad wasn't up to the challenge.

Shogun may have a solid ground game, but Tito has excellent top positioning and sub defense. This is a nightmare match-up for Shogun, based on those 2 mentioned. I'd think that Shogun would be the one receiving the ass beating.

Shogun took Forrest lightly. And was taught a lesson. I dont think we will see Shogun lose againfor awhile. IMO he was winning that fight. Just barely, but he was still winning. If hadnt have gassed he might have won. And people would still be on is nutsack.

Shogun was definitely not winning that fight. Forrest pretty much controlled the entire pace of that fight. Shogun landed one solid elbow, and that's about it. Forrest neutralized Shogun's GnP, and outstruck him.

Shogun was also injured. Not taking anything away from Forrest. You could tell too because it's rare to see Shogun gas during any fight

Yeah, I definitely just watched the fight again. Shogun was not winning that fight. Id say it was pretty close through rds 1 and 2 though. But it was all Forrest in rd 3. Oh well. I still think he will be back to his old ways in his next fight.

This fight would all depended on both of these guys getting there gas tanks back. I mean while Shogun gassed hard in a fast paced fight with Forrest, Tito gassed bad in his last fight which was kinda slow against Rashad.
If Tito gasses and can't take Shogun down than Shogun has a shot since Tito's TDD isn't anything special and when Tito gasses he leaves himself open standing
If Shogun gasses than Tito will control him for 3 rounds and win. I mean Tito doesn't have much GnP left but he is strong and has good submission defense.
If they both have there old gas tanks which made them great fighters I think Shogun takes it. I mean he is far more active on the ground than Tito he strikes from the bottom and Tito doesn't really throw much when he is on top of guys anymore. I think even if Tito takes Shogun down Shogun will score more points by striking Tito and going for submissions. I would compare it to Fitch vs Sanchez (which was a split decision to Fitch) But with less action from Tito than Fitch put up.

Shogun gassed really early in his last fight which is very uncharacteristic of him and I don't think he'd make that mistake again. I actually like Tito but he is not the same fighter he once was he doesn't have the same intensity and killer instinct. I say Shogun by KO.

to tell you the truth, tito hasn't been the same dominate wrestler he once was in the early ufc days. screw the decision, if shogun gets his cardio back he will win this by submission in the second.
