I'm a Shogun fan, but I see Ortiz taking this by LnP UD. Bad matchup for Shogun.

As good as some of those guys are, none of them really match-up in BJJ with Shogun. Frank Shamrock did a great job against Tito in their fight from the guard, and I honestly believe that he's the best ground fighter Tito's fought, and lost to.

I just don't think Tito's going to be able to lie on top of Shogun for 3 rounds, especially if Shogun turns up in shape.

Elvis has a great ground game....he just gets hit in the head too often for anyone to notice

Demian Maia may be the Fred Astaire of jiu-jitsu, but it’s too bad Silva is the Gene Kelly of kicking everyone’s ass.

Shogun has a strong ground game and it's not really debatable. I mean the guy beat both Nogueira and Arona on the ground. He almost put an omoplata on Arona. His record is more a product of Pride rules which allowed him to stand up and soccer kick instead of staying on the ground and finishing guys.

Now the question of who's ground game is better between Shogun and Frank is intersting however Frank did beat Tito so it's possible Shogun's ground game would do just fine.
