sorry guys, sherk has losses to gsp and matt hughes, and that's it. he deserves to get his chance to fight for the title. i don't like his style, but i dont think anyone can argue he deserves to be getting back in there (as long as hes clean).

I'm not so sure this is a good idea at all, but it makes good sense from a business standpoint. If BJ wins, a fight against Sherk is money, considering the former's coments about the latter.
And I can't help but wonder if UFC will televise comments from BJ about steroids in its promo packages...
I can't say I'm surprised by all of this, but I had hoped UFC would keep Sherk away from the belt for a while.

Even though I would rather see Sherk make his way back up to the top, I'm even more excited to see him vs BJ (or Stevenson, but I think it will be Penn). I'm sure BJ will accept the fight, and take his rage out on Sherk.

I know. It really is a shame. I thought for sure we'd see him fighting for a title soon. He just keeps falling short. He is a staple in that division though. I doubt they will stop giving him chances. Unless he starts losing badly.
On topic. I hope BJ fights Sherk should the opprotunity arise. I gotta say though that he seems like a man with conviction. I could see him not taking the fight. He doesnt like to be told what to do.
And Im not automatically counting out Joe. I feel like most people are. He is a very good fighter.
