Smile Am I the only one to fell this way? !!

I don't like fighters being saved by the bell!! I would like to see if a fighter is caught in a sub hold at the end of any round they continue until he is out or the other fighter gets out of the hold. If he gets out then the ref jumps in and call the round. If he doesn't get out then well he loses!! any reply or comments welcomed!!! thanks EG.

Its a five minute round and thats the rules. You cant say its a five minute round unless the guy is caught in a submission or mounted.

I'm pretty sure your the only one that feels that way.

That's like saying if a hockey player has a break away and the time runs out once he hits the blue line then he should be allowed to keep going. Come on man, it's 5 minutes, that's it.

I'd have given my middle nut to see an extra ten seconds of the first round of the Doerkson/Herman fight. But those are the rules and the fighters are well aware of it.

It sucks when it happens, but there really isn't anything that can be done about it.

I know that it's a 5 min round but, if your caught in a sub you shouldn't count on the bell to save you! The other fighter caught you now you get out if you can. if you cant goodnight and if you do let go to the next round!! All I'm saying is if a fighter has the opp to finish let him finish!! EG

5 min is 5 mins

get the job done within the time frame

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.
