Rampage Blames Referees for Loses

Two quick resets didn't lose him the fight...his inability to defend the clinch was what did it. Wanderlei Silva's guard does one thing: limits damage. I don't see Rampage finishing off Silva in his guard.

I like Rampage but getting beat twice by the same guy means you no longer have excuses.

lol

Jackson was doing zero damage to Wanderlei in their first fight on the ground in his guard. He got a tiny cut on the side next to his eye, Wanderlei does cut in nearly every fight. Wanderlei was tying him up and blocking everything that he threw. Even when he postured up a little, nothing was really connecting. The only time he did some slight damage was when Wanderlei went for an an armbar and Jackson just powered out of it. He got to side control for all of about five seconds and landed two knees to the head/upper body of Wanderlei. I think he even blocked them. Then Wanderlei got half guard and a few seconds later full guard. With again the zero damage occuring for about thirty seconds. It was a good reset in my opinion.

I don't think Jackson was annoyed when they got stood up, it looked like he was complaining because he thought he was getting a yellow card. Only Wanderlei was getting one. In an earlier Pride Jackson showed a referee a yellow card at the beginning of a fight because he was annoyed at getting one from a previous fight. I honestly thought it was just that what he was annoyed at.

Then Wanderlei just train wrecks Jackson. No excuses.

When i watched the first fight i thought the ref stood it up a little quick, but thats still no excuss for rampage to get that ass wooped.

It also looked like he was still complaining then got caught in the clinch and it was game over.

I love Rampage, but to blame it on the refs is kinda lame. I don't think it would be any different in the UFC. He would've got knocked out the same way and maybe even stopped sooner. He has no excuses the second time around and as far as the shogun fight he has no excuse for that one because he was clearly dominated throughout.

I don't really like Page but he's kind of a funny dude sometimes, sometimes not. He was never a very intriguing fighter to me but thats just me. But blame the refs after getting KTFO 2 times. Sorry Page but someone has to pull Wandy off your ass if your getting killed:dunno:

Haha don't you guys remember the fight where he went through the ******* ropes unconscious? The refs fault...............LOL The ref stopped it cause I got KTFO:(

I don't like how Rampage's camp keeps making up reasons for Jackson losing. "he was being held back then", steroids, refs, rules, etc. You lost bud, the Chute boxe guys have your number until you beat them. Hell Ninja arguably should have gotten the decision against him.

Funny how Juanito said Chuck was a "cashed check" but they want to fight Wanderlei for a third time (since he's lost two) and Shogun again.

I'm rooting for Wandy in his fight against Chuck, mostly because of the prospect of the Silvas, Wanderlei and Anderson Silva, possibly going at it in the future if Wanderlei wins.

I don't know if I'd ever root against Forrest Griffin, but if he does lose to Rampage, I hope Wandy gets an immediate crack at the title against Rampage.

If Wandy wins the title and Anderson gets past Hendo, a match between the two Silvas would be worth all the rest of the PPV's in that year combined to me. I suppose it's, at the moment, a pie in the sky. However, there isn't a more exciting fight to dream about.

Come on now Page. They shouldn't have stood the fights up but it isn't like Rampage was looking close to finishing and He got owned so bad standing I don't think he can complain. If you are going to get beat that bad standing I don't care what the ref did you deserved to lose.

Rampage never even got close to beating Wandy. I mean really... Never even close. Not even if you squint, close one eye, and tilt your head to the left.

Rampage got owned. I think being LHW champ is starting to get to his head. The Quinton Jackson of old wasn't making excuses like that.

Man, Wandy was smiling at him before he hung him on the ropes like a wet towel. lol.
