Bj's a Chunker

This thread is for all those who were mad at me for calling BJ Penn fat. I don't think anyone can disagree that it was BJ's cardio that lost this fight. Many would like to defend BJ by saying that he did not have long to prepare for this fight, but he was also fat in his last fight against GSP. He's been fat for a long time now so I really don't think that had anything to do with it. I wish we could see the old BJ come back, he used to be sleek as a cat.

Let's Bang!

Dude read the articles...BJ's ribs were severly injured and as such he couldnt continue. He may be just a touch over weight but thats his body type, he is still the best technical fighter at 170 in the world.

Well put! I wish people would stop going on about his weight and his stamina. Nobody spoke to BJ after the fight so everybody has to jump to the conclusion he is out of condition. The guy has always had the physique you saw Saturday, OK he may have been a little more trim for some previous fights but that is just the way BJ is.

Violence solves everything!

Yeah, he needs to spend some time with Tito Ortiz! I am so depressed right now! This is an even bigger let down then Babalu getting knocked out in thirty seconds! You almost had it BJ!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam
