Shinya Aoki.
GSP.
Anderson Silva.
Nogueira.
Rampage.

I'm doing all of MMA, though if you wanted UFC only, then minus Aoki, stick GSP at the stop and put Machida on the bottom of that junt, ya heard?

I had Nog over Silva, but comparing the 2 so far, I had to put Silva ahead, though if Nogueira beats Sylvia, then he is ahead, and I'd actually put him as number 1 HW.

I think BJ needs to go on a run, win the LW belt, and defend it against some top LW's before he is considered for best P4P. Just my opinion.

I'm still failing to see how Aoki is in there. Yes he is great from his back, and a good all around grappler but that is about it. He almost got armbared twice in his last fight against a guy who was basically brand new to mma (albeit a great judo guy). Then he went on to mount the Judoka, but he failed to finish him (not too mention punching him in the back of the head 13 times).

Aoki doesn't have good enough striking to be in the top 10 pound for pound4pound in my opinion. You should be very well rounded in my opinion to earn a top ten spot.

Plus has he really faced top tier competition besides Hansen? Im not too familiar with Shooto I admit, but his record doesn't seem to be a "who is who" of mma. I haven't seen him fight a good wrestler with sub defense (Guida Griffin, hell even Huerta) and the UFC is full of guys like that who I believe aoki would lose to.

Aoki could sub Guida, Griffin and Huerta no problem man, come on. Subbing Hansen>>>>>>than subbing those 3, by Gogoplata no less.

The biggest knock on Guida is his submission defense, so how you even mentioned him is beyond me. And wins over Kikuchi (twice), Black, French, and Hansen are great.

1. anderson silva

he's beaten every top guy ufc throws at him plus he absolutely dominated a top 3 middleweight (rich franklin) twice

2. fedor emelianenko

he's not been very active this year, but he made his arm bar submission victory on hong man look easy. he's shown no weakness his whole career and the only reason he isn't no1 is because of his inactivity.

3. quinton jackson

he knocked out the then no1 ranked chuck liddell in less than 2 minutes then pulled off a unaminious decision against decision dan.

4. gsp

he got decimated at the start of the year but came back very strong with dominant wins over josh koshcheck and matt hughes.

5. randy couture

i really struggled to choose the fifth spot because of the crazy year we've had. in the end i chose randy, at 44 years old he comes out of retirement and absolutely whomps a top 3 fighter then beat down a monster with a broken arm.

<--- the punch that started it all!

My current favirote fighters
Anderson Silva
Junior Dos Santos
Mauricio Rua
Alistair Overeem
Jon Jones

WAR dan hardy, paul daley, ross pearson and terry etim doing it for the britz!
