Tim Sylvia saying he could take Fedor!

We all know that Tim Sylvia turned down a fight with Fedor for whatever reason! I remember him saying he wanted to fight Fedor after Bitter Rivals. I found a video of him saying it! Most of this video was about his boring fight with AA and how he should be the main event and all this other stuff. He will come around to the Fedor subject eventually!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Tim Sylvia rejected Fedors challenge at the Real Deal. Hes like this kid I went to school with last year who kept talking trash behing my back. So I went up and challenged him and he rejected it and still talk smack so I beat him in like Swick did to Schoeneur.

No Tim cant beat Fedor and we all know that and he probobly does too. But he never said "I would beat Fedor." What exactly do you want Tim to say on the matter? i dont think he was out of line at all. I can also see where Tims mad hes not getting the respect he deserves. Who could blame him. I dont like Sylvia by the way. I just respect him and understand him.

I believe Tim Sylvia wants to fight Fedor but Tim is property of the UFC for as long as he is under contract. Dana decides who Tim fights and my guess is he wants to call all the shots in negotiations with Pride.

No matter how good you are, you will eventually meet up with someone who you cannot beat for one reason or another. Tim Sylvia has a big reach advantage and i would love to see Fedor out of his comfort zone and into the Octagon with big Tim. Tim has a better chance of beating Fedor than that reject Coleman.

Turning down that challenge was easily the smartest thing Tim ever did. Fedor wouldnt just beet him he would humiliate him and the entire UFC Heavyweight division. I predict Fedor by submission probably within 3 minutes.
