top 5 LHW in UFC
1.chuck
2.tito
3.babalu
4.forrest
5.rashad

Dude you don't have a clue....Tito Ortiz is nothing special....He's only in it for the money NOW....

1. Rashad is just to strong and too good of a wrestler for Ortiz to take him down and keep him there....

2. Rashad is by far the better, faster and more skilled boxer....

Hell Ortiz nearly got his ass whipped by Griffin...many people thought Forrest won that fight.....Ortiz always covers up when he's getting hit....If he does that against Rashad he will find himself on his back....Rashad is a bigger, stronger and more Explosive version of Matt Hughes.

No i'm a up and coming MMA Fighter....I've trained with the Natural a few times....I've trained with Chris Leben....I've even had a couple of Tustles for fun with Chuck Liddell......Our ship...USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN-72) was in Santa Barbara a few years back and i went a few minutes against Chuck...I got my ass handed to me in front of thousand of people, but it was all in good fun........

I've met Rashad Evans and believe me....This guy is for real......He took me down and I thank God every day that he didn't hit me...Good thing it was for fun...

But anyway...You don't appreciate how fast and strong this guy is, until your in the ring with him...

Ask Lamber what he thinks about Rashad now?.....Same thing Bonnar said...He's strong, explosive and very underrated

I've always been a Rashad fan. He's always been the underdog who no one believed could win but he always came through. His stand up was always pretty good and he was always good at taking opponents down but once he got them there he didn't seem to know how to finish them. He would usually just stay in their guard and smother them or lay and pray as some people call it. However, I think that the last fight really showed how far he has evolved as a ground fighter. He did a good job of achieving a mounted position on Lambert and then used his strikes to finish him quickly.

I think it would be a pretty close match between Forrest and Evans with Forrest having the advantage in the stand up and Rashad on the ground. I would call it going the distance with a decision for Rashad because of his superior takedowns and ground offense.

I'm not questioning Evans' skills. I agree that he has come a long way and looks better every fight. What I disagree with is your opinion that Evans could easily handle someone like Tito Ortiz, or, even more laughable, Chuck Liddell. If Evans/Griffen happens and Evans comes out on top, and Tito loses to Liddell, I think we'll see Ortiz/Evans. That fight will tell whether or not Rashad is a worthy opponent for Chuck Liddell. I will say this: in the event that somewhere down the road Evans does face Liddell, his standup will have to be much improved if he stands a chance.

Steeda3 I think your completly full of shit. Tito was hurt at UFC 59 and after seeing that knee after the fight I was surprised he fought in July. Tito is definatly the #2 LHW in the UFC. By the time Rashad is even worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as Liddell, Chuck will probably be retired. Just cuz your a Rashad nuthugger doesnt mean you have to make ignorant comments as well.

i vote rashad. Might look like the evans/ bonnar fight.
i think rashad will be very dangerous with in a year. Even title shot dangerous. I don't think he deserves to fight chuck just yet though. He is not nearly the puncher Chuck is. Then again Rashad has some of the sickest takedowns in the LHW division while chuck has the best takdown defense. Plus both rashad and chuck are smart. should be good.
One large obsticle i see for rashad is getting past Babalu (that is if he has to fight him). i think Babalu is superior to Evans on the ground and standing.

***** don't talk to me about MMA.....I've been in this sport since 93....Long before it became main stream......Now that i'm out of the Military I've devoted all my time and dedication to promoting it and get better at it....

So keep your uneducated comments to yourself....If you think Rashad Evans is a push over ask the guys he's beaten....

He's got alot of Power and he's good at everything....His stand up is good...Just ask Brad Imes....

His wrestling is good....Ask Bonnar and now his Ground and Pound has taken off....

Now about Tito Ortiz...All Tito has done this year is beat up on an over the hill Ken Shamrock....He lost his fight to Griffin in many peoples eyes and then he makes up this excuse that his knee was hurt...Yeah right...The only thing that was hurt was his pride.

If you think Couture spanked his ass....Let him get in there with Rashad....It's only a matter of time before this guy becomes champion. Not years but months..
