Brock Lesnar the Hype and why he is so dangerous and crazy.

First of all Id like to say that in no way am I on the WWE Brock Lesnar is the best bandwagon. Im all about the MMA Brock Lesner is really crazy and punches very hard scenario, oh yeah and he is a COLLEGE WRESTLING LEGEND. This guy is a ex professional wrestler which we all know is fake, even though Jake the Snake and his Boa would be tough to beat in MMA. Brock Lesnar is like a 4 time All American Heavyweight Division National Champion in Wrestling. He Knows whats up, and Great Wrestlers have a tendancy to do well in MMA. Ok so enough about the real life wrestling skills.

Brock Lesnar is very very mean. This dude is one crazy SOB, I expect nothing but high pace and him being pissed. He Will bring the fight to anyone and is really trying to hurt you. This guy is not like the UFC Heavyweights, he is tall yes, like 6ft2 or 3 like alot of HWs, but he is 265 pounds of Solid Muscle which no one has in the UFC. This guy makes guys like Randy Couture, Big Nog, Arlovski, Gonzaga, Werdum, Cro Cop, Fedor look very very small. Now I know size isnt everthing but Strength can help. I mean Royce Gracie was breaking guys arms legs and knees like 3 times his size. But were they as Strong as Brock Lesnar, No they were not. Brock Lesnar is like a brick and you arent going to arm bar leg lock or do any of that Submission stuff on this dude. His neck is so non existant he could never be RNC'ed. He is so strong that he will make you change your game.

Frank Mir was a good fighter before the injuries and the age. Frank you are in so much trouble you might as well tapout right now. You have never felt this strength and this hard of a punch that Brock will bring. This guy is no joke and this is not fake. Beware of Brock Lesnar, Randy you should have never retired because this guy could have been next. And Mr. Couture I would laugh at you when you tried to wrestle him.

Randy would never fight him. And Maybe when Lesnar is the champ Randy Couture could come out of retirement at age 49 and get exposed by a bigger bad ass. The Natural Vs the UnNatural UFC 127. Be there. Oh yeah Dana Whites beef with Randy is big but How beefy is Brock Lesnar?

Possible (key word: Possible) problems for him though:

1. He could gas (esp. with all that muscle). Few things gas as much as a wrestler who for some reason get sprawled too much.

2. Tim Sylvia, who I for some reason trust, said he can't take punches and esp. kicks whithout moaning and complaining during training.

3. Wrestling in MMA is not easy anymore. People learn to sprawl really well and if thay feint with punches, a good HW wrestler might take HIM down! That is, if he have some problems with getting hit.

Other than that, If he trained with a solid submission wrestler like Marcelo Garcia
at ATT or something he would def. be a threat.

But I've said it before: he's not certainly good or bad yet, we'll simply have to wait and see. We can't know anything about his place in the MMA rankings as for now.

I have yet to believe in Lesnar because we haven't seen his BJJ or standing. He could GNP his way to a W vs. Mir and I'll still be out on him because he has yet to face a striker with a good sprawl (Sylvia, Kongo somewhat).

My guess is he losses by armbar since their are a lot of great wrestlers who join MMA and do well but after one fight and about a year of training Lesnar isn't ready for a ground game at Mir's level.

Members of Team Takedown which is full of AA wrestlers have had trouble early in their career on some smaller shows because they haven't gotten used to MMA yet. 3 time all american Shane Roller lost his MMA debut at MOTC because he had never fought in real MMA before.

You can be a great wrestler but you need warm up fights to get used to the MMA. Lesnar has one fight against a guy who is horrible.

I think he is so dangerous because of the giant penis sword on his chest. Damn, that thing is scary. It looks like one of the drawings from the curly haired kid in Superbad.

Seriously though, his biggest advantage would have to be his GnP ability. He's huge and would be almost impossible to get off of you, even if he wasn't a monster wrestler from back in his college days. Also, there has to be some kind of strength behind all that muscle with which to punch the crap out of whoever is beneath him.

Standing, I don't see him being anything special. I'm pretty sure that Bob Sapp would KO him fairly quickly in a standup battle.

Submissions...I don't see it happening.

The question is whether or not he can defend submissions. He's jumping right into the shark reef without a cage(or with a cage... Damn this metaphor gets ruined with the UFC's cage ) He had better develop a strong submission defense quickly or all of the top guys are going to bust a Hughes and choke his giant ass out.

How do you Choke Out something that has no neck??

And all of you who claim his BJJ and stand up are not good enough. Well Im pretty sure that his wrestling is world class, and this guy might throw the hardest punch I have ever seen. Granted I dont know about his Defense, neither will you because he has none He is All Offensive. This guy wants to hurt his opponents and you gotta love those crazy dudes like Tim Harris of the Packers/49ers.

And Once again how do You arm bar /leg lock/ RNC or Submit such a monster. Ask Sean Sherk, it usually will never happen. And Frank Mirs Floppy Strength and Awesome Ninja Skills will soon learn this hard lesson.

Too Old, Too Slow, and Too weak for Brock.
