Mir has an awesome way of making his points. Great selections with his vocabulary.

I've read some threads here about people complaining about his commentary in EliteXC or something, he sounds very well spoken to me and I enjoy what he has to say.

I also liked what Brock had to say, he wasn't as cocky as he was in the Countdown video and is really treating this opportunity with respect.

It was a good press conference. Everybody was respectful of each other. Tim Sylvia even gave Brock Lesnar a good review. This should be an excellent show on Saturday night. Let's go Brock.

I just hope that after this fight is over all the people that have been hating on brock dont come on here and start to love him. We all know anyways when Brock runs through him its not going to be wow Brock might be that good. It's going to be wow Mir is washed up and needs to retire. Frank is one hell of a commentator though and I think he he should persue that after this fight is over. Im telling every1 right now Brock is going to win this fight. The guy is a freak. Yes he has a shitty tatoo but trust me this guy is going to be a force.

I'm not going to lie, I bet 250MM points on Lesnar. I am not a wrestling fan at all, but I think Brock is actually going to be a good MMA fighter. I am not basing this on his WWE career or even his fight in K-1, More of just a hunch.

Brock seems alot less confident than he did in the all access. Using terms like "throwing me to the wolves" and "giving me a chance" don't bode to well. It's a farcry from "I'm gonna shove my fist down his throat".

GO WAND!

brock is gradually becoming a MMA fighter, he is learning the ways and i have more respect for him today then i did yesterday, ive shown the most hatred towards the guy on this forum than anyone else (of course my 2 rants were when i was drunk) but even if lesnar loses to mir, I would still hope to see him in the ufc or any other organization, he has heart, sure he isnt training as well as he could (dont get me wrong, endurance and weight lifting hes top notch, but he has to learn submissions and working off of his back) he has a far way to go to become championship material (sure he has a large chance of being tim sylvia, but cmon, tim sylvia is not a good opponent against brock, brock could take him down way WAYYY to easily and pound his way to a victory)

i still say, mir over lesnar.

Right now, Tim Sylvia would probably destroy Lesnar. Tim is a legit fighter who has some of the best TD defense in the HW division. Monson couldn't take him down and when he finally did, Tim got right back up. Ricco couldn't take Him down either.

The only person who was succesfully able to take Sylvia down was Couture. Couture is a friggin animal and Timmy was not himself in that fight.

If Tim is such a bad fighter than how come he is fighting for his 3rd HW title tommorrow night?

Tim Sylvia is definitely legit. Hate him or love him the guy is around, has been around, and will be around the HW contention for a long time. IMO he will be champion again.

As for Lesnar taking him down and pounding him? It would be quite the feat to get inside Tim's striking to get the TD, then get the TD against the beast, and then pound him out? The first is tough, the second unlikely, and the third almost laughable. Remember what happened to Monson trying to get in tight with Tim? Also, remember how he couldn't even reach Tim's head once in his guard (albeit a six inch height difference between Lesnar and Monson)?

I'll be the first to tell you I haven't been the biggest Tim Sylvia fan (although this fight I can't wait for), but he is a bad match-up for almost any other HW.
