A UFC Fight Night 13 event already brimming with talent just got an extra heaping of star-power: undefeated lightweight Frankie Edgar (8-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has been booked to take on “The Ultimate Fighter 5” standout Gray Maynard (4-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) at the event.

Wow. It will be very interesting to see how Gray has trained since his Emerson fight. I know a lot of people are going to be putting all there money on Edgar but I wont be so quick to do that.

Edgar takes this fight easy IMO. He is a great wrestler with better bjj and better striking. I believe his cardio is better as well

This isn't going to be pretty. Everyone's favorite prospect Gray Maynard is going to get trashed bad no matter where this fight goes. Fiveouncesofpain.com is also reporting he will be training with Kos, Fitch, and Swick out at ATT for this fight so Gray is really screwed.

This is also a horrible fight for Edgar to have. It should be Edgar vs Florian, Lauzon vs Gray but Joe Silva can't do things the easy way.

Agreed, and your avatar, it's just so beautiful, like T.B.'s Razor Rob avy. I can't stop staring.

Edgar's pretty much better at everything. I like Maynard, but he's out of his league here, since Edgar's proven that he'll be a future champion.

I do'nt get the point of this fight...Edgar is way better and should be near title challenging position. Gray is nobody really.

I'm convinced that Joe Silva just coin flips.
