Agreed. Putting Diaz ahead of guys that deserve to be on there is just ruining the rankings...

But if he truely doesn't belong there, then the amount of votes he gets will reflect that, and he won't show up on the rankings.
Integrity of the rankings is retained, and people like Toddums get to voice thier opinion. That's the beauty of this system (kudos to kds13 for it).

But the fight did happen. And it isn't the topic.

kds, What gives you the right to sh!t on someone else's rankings and not count them?? Rankings are only someones opinion and who are you to tell them there opinion is wrong?? Joe Lauzon, Clay Guida, Nick Diaz, are all very good fighters. Not top 10 in my book, but they arent far from it. If someone is a paid member and feels they should be ranked in the top 10 than so be it.
I could see if they were putting up crazy names like Andy Wang or Gabe Ruediger, but the guys that were mentioned were solid fighters. Who knows how those guys would do against the guys in your "perfect" rankings. But I know I would bet on them to beat at least a few of them.

They can have some of those guys in there, but all of them? And without mentioning Aoki, JZ, Ishida, and Kawajiri? C'mon. I'm just asking people to be fair and reasonable, but apparently thats too much to ask.
Rotten Rob made it in the Top 10 on one ballot as a joke...that is what I'm trying to prevent. People are going to start putting in Rankings to reflect either a joke or their personal Pride vs. UFC bullsh*t and its gonna f-up the Rankings.
And I love the personal attacks there. I included ALL of the Rankings. No one got left out. And my Rankings ARE perfect...FOR ME. I'm asking people to be realistic, and 99/100 people would say including Clay Guida, Joe Lauzon, Rob Emerson, Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz, and Hermes Franca in the world's Top 10 over the likes of JZ, Aoki, Kawajiri, and Ishida is NOT reasonable.

Hes just trying to keep the integrity of the rankings. I mean we dont want it to become a complete joke where people just crap on it all the time.

Lauzon is sort of far from the top 10, as is Nick Diaz.

Yea I re-read it and it sounded like I was real mad. But Im not, I just got a little agravated no big deal.
Its just that alot of people are close minded with their rankings. I was just saying people disagree on who are really the top 10 fighters all the time. Noones gonna have the same guys ranked, especially the LW's. Its not like those guys that were mentioned would have no shot at beating guys on kds's list. With the exception of Rotten Rob of course. But its especially hard because most of these LW's will never fight each other so we dont really know who is better. Whose to say Guida wouldnt beat Ishida or Kawajirri?? Maybe he would, maybe he wouldnt. But if someone on this forum thinks Guida is the better fighter, than he should have the right to rank him ahead of them.
Sorry kds if you thought I was attacking you. It came across the wrong way I guess.
